What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to keep that authentic Georgian character while making everything actually functional for modern travelers. The apartments themselves feel lived-in but not worn-out, if that makes sense – like staying at a friend’s place who happens to have really good taste. You get a proper kitchen, which honestly saved me so much money since I could grab fresh khachapuri from the bakeries nearby and have breakfast at home. The 4.5-star rating feels about right too – it’s not trying to be some luxury resort, but everything works the way it should, the WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and the beds are actually comfortable (I’m looking at you, every other apartment rental I’ve stayed in).

The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward key-pickup-from-a-random-café situation you sometimes get with apartment rentals. During my stay in late spring, the area was bustling but never felt overcrowded, though I imagine summer might be a different story with all the tourists. One small thing that caught me off guard was how quiet it gets at night despite being so central – those old buildings have thick walls, apparently.
