Nino’s Apartment in the center of Tbilisi Overview
I landed at Nino’s Apartment in the center of Tbilisi after a quick flight from the airport, and let me tell you, the first thing that hit me was the way the old stone streets carried the scent of roasted chestnuts and fresh coffee. The apartment itself feels like a tiny slice of the city’s vibrant soul—walls painted in warm terracotta, a small balcony that overlooks the bustling traffic on Dzmebi Zubalashvilebi Street, and the faint hum of the metro in the distance. Check‑in was a breeze; the host, a cheerful woman named Nino, greeted me with a smile that said, “I’ve kept this place for a while; you’ll feel right at home.” She handed me a key card and a handwritten note with a list of local cafés—Soviet‑style bistros, a hidden espresso bar in the basement, and a pastry shop on Mtkvarze that serves the best khachapuri in town. The apartment itself has a kitchenette that’s surprisingly well equipped, so I made myself a quick breakfast of cheese and honey, while the window opened onto a street that buzzes with scooters and tourists taking selfies.
The real charm, honestly, is the neighborhood. It’s not a tourist trap; you’ll find yourself wandering down side streets where the locals shop for fresh produce at the Saturday market, and the aroma of grilled meat drifts from a stall near the church of Sioni. I took a stroll to Mtatsminda Park the next morning—just a short walk away—where the city’s skyline stretches out like a sprawling canvas. The park’s tram ride gives you a sweeping view of the city, and from the top, you can spot the ancient metekhi fortresses that line the river. When I was exploring the area, I bumped into a street musician playing a haunting duduk, and the sound mingled with the clatter of bicycle wheels. The apartment’s walls are acoustic enough that I could almost hear the city’s heartbeat from my bed.
Parking is a bit of a challenge, as you’d expect in the city center, but Nino saved me a headache by pointing me to a small, paid garage a block away—no need to circle the block for hours. The noise level is mostly the city’s soundtrack: honking horns, a distant church bell, and the occasional laughter from a nearby café. I’d say it’s fairly quiet after 10 pm, but if you’re a light sleeper, you might want an earplug or two. The only critique I have is that the apartment’s view is partly blocked by a neighbor’s balcony, so you won’t get the full panoramic view of the city’s rooftops. Still, the trade‑off is worth it for the authentic feel and the easy access to everything. If you’re planning a trip to Tbilisi, this place is a solid anchor for your adventures—no marketing fluff, just a real, human touch that makes you feel like you’re part of the city’s daily rhythm.
To book hotel in Tbilisi during the famous Tbilisi Jazz Festival season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts wine enthusiasts and cultural travelers from around the world.

Reviews of Nino’s Apartment in the center of Tbilisi
Very Good – Yiwen from Georgia – September 1, 2025 (8/10)
Great host to compromise our late arrival. Clean room with washroom in it. Location is quite near city center.
What could be improved: The address is a bt difficult to locate, but the host guided us very patiently. A little expensive for the price but acceptable.Exceptional – Damir from Germany – December 15, 2024 (10/10)
I recently stayed at this wonderful apartment in the heart of the city, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! The location is absolutely perfect, with excellent connections to public transport and easy access to all the attractions.
The owner is exceptionally hospitable and available, ensuring that all my needs were met during my stay. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable, which truly enhanced the experience.
Additionally, having parking available at the apartment was a significant advantage, as it made exploring the city worry-free.
Overall, this apartment offers everything you could possibly need for a fantastic stay. I look forward to returning on my next visit!I would be happy to come back in the future.🔥🔥🔥 – Georgios/gr from Netherlands – August 8, 2024 (10/10)

Good location and host – Dreamvoyage from France – October 5, 2023 (9/10)
The location is great, which is quiet but just some steps away from the square. (The short walk involves a climb, be prepared if you have heavy luggage)
Host is very nice, coming out to greet us.
What could be improved: NothingExceptional – Andrew from Georgia – June 3, 2023 (10/10)
The apartment was exceptionally clean, quiet, and packed with all necessary utils and furniture. The wifi speed was good enough for group zoom calls. Additionally, Nino is a wonderful landlord.
Wonderful – Vicktor_m from Russia – December 30, 2022 (9/10)
This place of residence has an interesting location in an old building in the city center. Very quiet and comfortable room. Nino is a very kind and attentive host, the room is bright, the air conditioner is enough to warm up the apartment in winter, it was cozy
What could be improved: Having a washing machine would have been great.
The opening in the front door was a little bit narrow for me (190cm/98kg)Good – Małgorzata from Poland – September 22, 2023 (7/10)
No problem with check in
What could be improved: There should be a ventilator in the toilet – there is this not nice smell of the humidity after the shower for a long time
Just be aware that the apartment is on the hillBetter look for another place. – Nomadic from Germany – June 17, 2025 (4/10)
Very cheap and depressive place with no cosiness. Acceptable, but better search more, there are more options for this price in city centre 🙂 The owner was kind and let me check out at 2pm. NB: There is no actual kitchen! Only microwave and (dirty&old) teapot.
What could be improved: Everything is very basic and cheap, with no renovations for a very long time. The apartment hall is private but very stuffed and dirty. Room light is white and aggressive. Curtains should always be closed because it's a street behind them with people walking by and stopping to talk. Actually, knowing Tbilisi very well, I regret I didn't escape this place from the beginning, but was very tired and it was raining like crazy.Exceptional – Victory from Armenia – August 12, 2024 (10/10)
