Nina’s Sweet Home Overview
I landed on the first day of July, the heat already starting to thicken the air over Tbilisi. The little block at 38 Egnate Ninoshvili Street looks like a quiet slice of the city’s old neighborhood, but the moment I stepped out of Nina’s Sweet Home, the hum of traffic and the distant clatter of a tram stop were already painting the backdrop. The front desk is run by a woman named Lali who greets you with a smile that feels like a warm invitation—”Welcome to Nina’s, we’re glad you’re here,” she says, almost as if she knows you already. The check‑in process is surprisingly quick; she pulls out a keycard with a flick of her wrist and hands you a small bag of local snacks—cheese and dried apricots—so you can start tasting the city right away. Honestly, the vibe feels like you’re staying in a friend’s apartment rather than a hotel, which is a big plus if you’re looking to soak up the local rhythm.
The street itself is a tapestry of old and new: the cracked stucco of the neighboring Soviet-era buildings, the bright, graffiti‑covered walls, and the smell of fresh coffee from the café that’s literally on the corner. If you’re craving a quick bite, you can hop over to Didi Gori across the street—it’s the kind of place that locals swear by for a hearty khachapuri. For a stroll, just head north on Egnate Ninoshvili toward Rustaveli Avenue, and you’ll be within a ten‑minute walk to the bustling market at Freedom Square. The hotel’s location is a sweet middle ground: not too far from the Old Town, yet far enough that you can actually find a quiet corner for a nap after a long day of exploring. The parking is free on the street, but you’ll find that it gets a bit congested around 5 pm on weekdays, so if you’re planning a late‑night return, just keep an eye on the street signs.
Room-wise, the place feels like a comfortable, well‑maintained nest. The bed is big—two meters wide—and the sheets have that crisp, slightly floral scent that makes you want to stay in bed longer. The bathroom is decent, with a good shower pressure that can keep the steam from building up too quickly. I did notice that the windows are a bit old, so on windy days, you get a gentle gust that can ruffle the curtains; it’s a minor annoyance, but it adds to the authentic feel of the place. The noise from the street is manageable—mostly the occasional honk and the soft chatter of locals—but if you’re planning an early morning workout, you’ll want to keep your headphones on. The Wi‑Fi is solid, and the staff will happily point you toward a nearby café if you need to catch up on work. All in all, Nina’s Sweet Home feels like a home base that lets you feel the heartbeat of Tbilisi without all the usual tourist gloss.

Reviews of Nina’s Sweet Home
Exceptional – Anton from Israel – July 4, 2025 (10/10)
Great place! The apartment is beautifully styled with an authentic touch – it really has a special atmosphere. The location is perfect, close to everything you might need. One of my favorite parts was the lovely balcony, where a couple of friendly local cats would stop by to say hello – such awesome little visitors! The host was incredibly kind and responsive, which made the stay even better. Would definitely stay here again.

Nino has excellent aesthetic taste. She is warm, cheerful, and always replies promptly. There is homemade chacha wine in her fridge, and cute cats on the balcony. Staying here felt just like being at my grandparents' house when I was a child, and I slept really well.

The apartment is very spacious and has a terrace with a great view. equipped with everything needed. great location in a nice district Chugureti, close to metro and local shops. Nice apartment, welcoming host – Evgeniya from Netherlands – April 7, 2025 (9/10)
The apartment is located very conviniently: ~ 10 min walk from the subway and ~30 min walk from the old city center. There are many supermarkets close by and open for 24 h. Nina was a great host, very welcoming and always available for questions and help. The apartment is very big and clean, with a nice big balcony and well-equipped kitchen. Late night check-in and early morning check-out were not a problem. We enjoyed our stay and wish to come back.
Spacious accommodation with a beautiful terrace. Definitely worth the price. – Nikolai from Finland – May 2, 2024 (9/10)
This apartment is equipped with everything that you might needed. Spacious and comfortable rooms. The place itself is very cute but terrace is so beautiful with a spectacular view.
Located in area that close to railway and metro stations. Anyway it close to city center and you can get there by taxi super fast.
The host was welcoming and fast replying.
I would highly recommend this place to stay.Nice place to stay, a big flat, with a huge living room and also nice balcony. – Timm from Germany – February 22, 2024 (9/10)
The place is beautiful, sweet and lovely made.
Also the balcony is nice and the location is super. Also the host is nice and caring if you need something.
What could be improved: The street on the bedroom side is a bit loud, but it depends on how sensitive you are for these kind of things. For the kitchen it would be nice to have some more things/tools for cooking, but its ok for basic dishes.Exceptional – Yuliya from Belarus – August 20, 2025 (10/10)
Очень уютно, все белье чистое, посуда тоже. Терраса просто восторг 😍. Атмосфера очень приятная. Хозяйка всегда на связи. Если вернемся в Тбилиси, то только к ней 🥰
