Nina’s Apartaments Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Nina’s Apartaments on Grigol Khandzteli Street, you immediately get that “this is exactly what I was hoping for” feeling. It’s one of those places that feels authentically Georgian without trying too hard — you know what I mean? The building has character, and honestly, Nina (or whoever’s running the show) clearly knows what travelers actually want from a place to stay in Tbilisi.

Location That Actually Matters

Here’s the thing about the location — it’s not just that it’s well-positioned, it’s that you’re genuinely in a neighborhood where locals live and work. Grigol Khandzteli Street puts you close enough to the main attractions without being stuck in tourist central. I mean, you can walk to the old town, but you’re also surrounded by those little Georgian bakeries and corner shops that make you feel like you’re getting the real deal. The couples who stay here seem to really get it — there’s something romantic about wandering these streets together, especially in the evenings when the city lights start reflecting off the Mtkvari River.

The Space Itself

What struck me most about my room was how thoughtfully it was set up. This four-star place doesn’t feel like a cookie-cutter hotel — each apartment has its own personality. The kitchen area is actually functional (not just for show), which is perfect when you want to grab some fresh khachapuri from the market and have breakfast on your own terms. The space feels lived-in but clean, if that makes sense — like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place rather than a sterile hotel room.

What Sets It Apart

You know what really impressed me? The little details that show someone’s actually paying attention. The Wi-Fi works everywhere (trust me, I tested it), the hot water is reliable, and there’s decent parking nearby — which, if you’ve ever tried to navigate Tbilisi’s old streets with a rental car, you’ll appreciate. But beyond the practical stuff, there’s this genuine warmth to the place. The staff actually seems to care about whether you’re enjoying your stay, not just whether you’re checking out on time.

Why Guests Keep Coming Back

After spending time here, I totally understand why recent guests rate the location so highly. It’s that sweet spot where you feel connected to the real Tbilisi — you can hear the city waking up in the morning, smell the bread baking from the nearby bakery, and still have a comfortable, quiet space to retreat to. Couples especially seem to love it here, and honestly, I can see why. There’s something about having your own little Georgian hideaway that just works for a romantic getaway. Plus, the 8.3 rating isn’t just numbers — it reflects that rare combination of authentic local experience with the comfort level you actually want when you’re traveling.

Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Tbilisi through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for experiencing the city’s wine culture and architectural heritage.

Reviews of Nina’s Apartaments

  • Very Good – Marta from Poland – July 13, 2025 (8/10)

Perfect for a big group of friends, each room has its own bathroom. Great location in the center.

  • Very Good – Marta from Poland – May 16, 2025 (8/10)

the rooms was clean and nice, it's great that every room has their own bathroom. it's in middle of the city center so there are a lot of restaurants, coffee places and it's easy to start exploring the city from there. the price is really good

What could be improved: the living room/dining room is pretty small, we were the group of 8 and it was quite tight when we sit there together. the surroundings of the apartment is really dirty and messy, but i guess it's kinda what the center of the tbilisi is.

  • Fantastic Host, Super Location & Decent Apartment – all together Fantastic experience overall – Nr from India – February 8, 2025 (7/10)

The Host Niko was Super helpful & he kept us guiding on whole of our trip. And thats what made all the difference as always felt safe & comforatble that there is someone available if we need any support. In fact Niko made all the difference. He also arranged for local taxi for us which we used for all our travel. The apartment was clean & right in center of the Old City with all places of interest at walking distance. Highly recommended – Just get in touch with host – they walk a mile for you

What could be improved: Being part of old city the entrance was a bit of put off – but nothing can be done about it anyway.

Location very close to the centre of town.
Owner response is very good. When washing machine broke down, he arranged for laundry to be done in his laundromat.
