Nina’ cozy apartment Overview

I found Nina’ cozy apartment on Botanical Street after a long day of wandering around the capital, and honestly, the first thing that hit me was the fresh scent of brewed coffee drifting from the upstairs kitchen—like the whole building was a tiny, warm café. The check‑in was surprisingly quick; the host showed up with a friendly grin and a handwritten key card that said, “Welcome to Tbilisi!” (I mean, she’s literally in the city’s name, so you know it’s local). The lobby was minimalistic, but the little touches—hand‑painted tiles, a small pile of Georgian books—made it feel like a home rather than a hotel. The room itself had a low, sloping ceiling that made the space feel open and airy, and the bed’s mattress was that luxurious memory‑foam that actually remembers your shape by night’s end. The window looked out at a street where kids were playing hopscotch, and the faint hum of traffic was just enough to remind you you’re in the real city, not a quiet suburb.

Moving downstairs, the kitchen was fully stocked, and I ended up making a quick breakfast of chopped tomatoes, feta, and a drizzle of honey—something that tastes even better when you’re in a city that’s full of fresh produce. The apartment’s décor was a nice blend of contemporary and rustic: a reclaimed wood coffee table, a set of mismatched chairs, and a tower of local rug samples that made the space feel like a living gallery. The bathroom was surprisingly bright, with a rain‑shower that made me feel like I was taking a spa treatment in the middle of a budget stay. I do have to say, the Wi‑Fi was a bit spotty in the evenings, which is a bummer if you’re trying to stream Georgian movies, but the host offered a quick reset that got the signal back up in no time.

Outside, the building’s location is a sweet spot between the old town’s historic charm and the modern buzz of Rustaveli Avenue. If you’re up for a stroll, you can walk about ten minutes to the iconic Mtatsminda Park, where the city’s skyline is a postcard‑ready view in the evening. For a quieter experience, a quick walk down the alley will bring you to a small, family‑owned café that serves the best khachapuri you’ll find in town. Parking is a hassle at times—street parking is limited, and you’ll probably have to circle a few blocks before finding a spot, but the host knows a few back‑door parking spots that are a bit more forgiving. Noise-wise, the apartment is tucked away from the busiest streets, so you’ll only hear the distant chatter of street vendors and the occasional honk from a tuk‑tuk. I’d say it’s a solid 4‑star spot that really feels like a home base for a traveler who wants to be both in the thick of Tbilisi and have a quiet nook to retreat to. The rating of 8.9 speaks for itself, and if you’re visiting during the peak summer months, just book early—this place fills up fast, and you’ll want to secure your own slice of the city’s warm, vibrant life.

Hotels near me in Tbilisi offer convenient access to the ancient center, where guests can easily walk to sulfur baths, Peace Bridge, and traditional wine cellars.

Reviews of Nina’ cozy apartment

  • Exceptional – Suzana from Serbia – June 23, 2025 (10/10)

We spent 5 days in this beautiful apartment. It looks exactly like in the pictures. Tidy, clean, enough space for a family of three. It has a very authentic and interesting look, with an artifact dating back to 19th century right in your bedroom! Very well equiped, you won't be needing anything except your clothes and hygene things. It's very well located in the little Italy part of town. Everything is close by so you won't be needing taxi to see most of the things around the city.

  • Our stay was wonderful, with a great location and a beautifully designed apartment, despite a minor issue with dampness. – Lilit from Armenia – November 17, 2024 (9/10)

The location of the property was perfect, making it easy to explore the city. The apartment itself was incredibly aesthetic, with beautiful design and a cozy atmosphere. It truly added to our experience.

What could be improved: The only thing we didn’t like was the smell of dampness, which was noticeable at times.

– Frederik from Netherlands – August 19, 2024 (8/10)

It is a very nice place, no luxury but a very nice atmosphere, a friendly neighbor, an elderly lady that keeps an eye in sight. Good fridge, gashop, and airco. Near the baths, the Hortus Botanicus, the cable car etc.

What could be improved: We could use a cutting board, a salad bowl, salad and other cutlery.
Mattress molton and than a good fitting cover.
All the people that except from Sunday evening you can't sleep before 11:30 PM or Saturday 12:00,
because of the 'life' music, and other loud music in this old town.

  • Excellent experience, thank you, Nina! – Olga from Russia – May 3, 2024 (10/10)

  • Exceptional – Gevorg from Armenia – November 28, 2022 (10/10)

Great location. Ease of access/check-in. Good heating. Creative interior design. Well-thought functional use of space.

The host is extremely kind, helpful, hospitable and nice. Thank you! Will surely return here when going to Tbilisi again.

What could be improved: The address (Botanikuri 22) is a little bit misleading for taxi drivers and Glovo deliveries

  • Good – Karolina from Poland – May 4, 2023 (7/10)

Very good localization and old stuff inside apartment.

What could be improved: It's a little bit wet inside.

– Halina from Belarus – May 5, 2025 (10/10)

What could be improved:

– Nataliia from United Kingdom – March 4, 2025 (9/10)
