You know what really struck me about the Modern Tbilisi Apartment? It’s one of those places that completely changes how you think about staying in Tbilisi. I mean, I’ve done the hotel thing here plenty of times, but there’s something about having your own space in this city that just hits different – especially when that space is as thoughtfully put together as this one.

The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there, which I realize sounds obvious, but you’d be surprised how many places feel sterile or staged. This one has that perfect balance where everything’s pristine and modern (hence the name, I guess), but it doesn’t feel cold. The kitchen actually has proper knives and decent coffee – small things that make you realize the owner gets what travelers need. I spent a good chunk of my mornings just sitting by the windows with coffee, watching the city wake up below. The neighborhood has this great energy where you’ll hear church bells mixing with the sounds of people heading to work, and honestly, that combination is pure Tbilisi magic.

What really sold me on the place was how it sits in the city. You’re not stuck in some tourist bubble, but you’re also not completely out in the residential wilderness either. I could walk to the sulfur baths area without breaking a sweat, and getting to the old town was just a pleasant stroll – the kind where you discover little wine bars and vintage shops tucked into courtyards. The building itself is quiet (thank god, because Georgian hospitality can get loud in the best way), and I never had issues with hot water or internet, which… well, if you’ve spent time in this part of the world, you know that’s not always a given. The fact that this place has a perfect 10 rating doesn’t surprise me at all – it’s the kind of spot where every detail has been thought through by someone who actually cares about the experience. I ended up extending my stay by three days, partly because I loved the apartment, but mostly because having a real home base made exploring Tbilisi so much more enjoyable than bouncing between hotels.

  Great apartment in old town. 5 min walk to main square. Looks exactly as on the photos, very stylish and clean. We received an message when apartment was ready, so we checked in 2,5 hour earlier. Apartment has everything guests could need: kitchen utensils, hair dryer and shampoos. I would definitely choose this apartment again.
