When I first walked into the lobby, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a 4-star property, but this place has that lived-in elegance that feels comfortable rather than stuffy. The staff genuinely seemed to care about getting things right, which is refreshing when you’ve stayed at too many places where everyone’s just going through the motions.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to balance that boutique hotel feel with actual functionality – the rooms are thoughtfully designed without being pretentious about it. The bedding is legitimately comfortable (not just hotel-comfortable), and the bathroom setup actually makes sense, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places mess that up. The soundproofing is pretty solid too, which matters more than people think until they’re trying to sleep next to a busy street. I stayed during what seemed like a busier period, and even then the common areas never felt chaotic or overcrowded. The breakfast situation is honestly better than it needs to be – they’ve got local options mixed in with the standard stuff, and the coffee doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting around for hours.

Here’s the thing that really sold me on this place though – it’s the kind of hotel that feels like someone who actually travels designed it. Little touches like proper lighting for reading, enough outlets where you need them, and a shower with decent water pressure. The location works well if you want to explore on foot, and there’s enough nearby that you’re not stuck eating hotel food every night if you don’t want to. With an 8.3 rating, it’s clearly hitting the mark for most people, and I can see why. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it delivers on what matters – you’ll sleep well, the staff treats you like a human being, and you’ll leave feeling like you got good value for what you paid. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need from a hotel stay.

  My stay here was very nice, as I could have a good nights rest after a camping trip. I even got an upgrade from the single room with hallway view to one with streetview for free. The staff was helpfull and kind. The location is easy to get to and in a pretty part of town to wander around.

Staff is very nice and helpful, including through providing earlier breakfast and assisting with restaurant reservations. Good for a quick stay or as a budget accommodation.
