Meidan Bazaar Prime Location Apartment Overview
I was strolling down Tbilisi‘s bustling streets when I spotted the Meidan Bazaar Prime Location Apartment tucked between a 19th‑century bakery and a modern espresso bar on Samghebro Street. The building itself feels like a time capsule with its original stone façade and the faint smell of Georgian coffee that drifts from the nearby café. Check‑in was a breeze – the front desk clerk, a friendly woman named Nino, had a small photo book of the neighborhood on her desk and even handed me a map with handwritten notes about the best stalls on the adjacent Mkhedruli Street. She said, “You’ll love the Sunday market; the vendors sell fresh pomegranates and khachapuri that taste like home.” Honestly, her enthusiasm was contagious and made the whole process feel less like a transaction and more like a warm welcome.
The apartment itself is a 4‑star gem in a 200‑year‑old building. The living area is surprisingly spacious for a city apartment – a generous open plan with high ceilings that echo the old church architecture. The window faces the narrow alley where a tiny flower shop sells wild roses; the scent of cut stems mingles with the distant hum of traffic that never quite stops in Tbilisi. Wi‑Fi is reliable, but if you need a quiet spot to read, the balcony comes with a small table and a pair of folding chairs – perfect for a late‑afternoon coffee while you watch the world go by. I mean, the view from the balcony is a little quirky because you can see the entire block, but that’s what makes it feel like you’re in the heart of the city, not just a hotel.
Parking is a bit of a challenge, but locals often use the street parking just outside the building, and the municipal parking garage on the corner of Samghebro and Rustaveli is only a five‑minute walk away. Noise-wise, the apartment is pretty decent; the only real disturbance is the occasional night shift at the nearby bar, which starts around 10 pm and ends by 2 am. If you’re traveling during the summer, expect the evenings to be lively – people gather in the piazza at the end of the block to enjoy live Georgian folk music. In the winter, the block is quieter, and the streetlights give the alley a cozy glow. The only critique I’d give is that the kitchen has a classic layout, but it does lack a dishwasher, so washing up can be a bit of a chore if you’re staying long. Overall, though, the Meidan Bazaar Prime Location Apartment feels like a home‑away‑from‑home spot that captures the pulse of Tbilisi without the fluff of typical hotel marketing.
Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Tbilisi through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for experiencing the city’s wine culture and architectural heritage.

the ease of transaction …it was silk smooth…i never met the owner but got apartment keys smoothly and payment also made in cash but through local bank tailoring machine…it was cake walk. Surrounding area was nothing but old Tbilishi with cobble paved roads and it is very near to all attractions in the city
What could be improved: may be a small electrical lifting arrangement in the backside courtyard would help family travelers to shift heavy luggage's to first floor. look forward to this for our next visit !Very convenience location and spacious. – Parinya from United Arab Emirates – April 13, 2025 (9/10)
