Check-in was smooth, but more importantly, when I had a question about local restaurants later that evening, the front desk person gave me three solid recommendations that clearly came from personal experience, not some corporate list. That kind of local knowledge makes such a difference when you’re trying to get a feel for an area. The housekeeping is spot-on too – they managed to clean thoroughly without moving all your stuff around or making it feel like strangers had rifled through your space. No elevator waits, no noisy hallways at night, no drama with the WiFi cutting out during video calls (tested extensively, unfortunately). It’s one of those places where you notice the five-star rating in the small details rather than flashy gestures – like how the bathroom lighting actually works for getting ready, or how the air conditioning responds quickly without sounding like a jet engine.
