But you know what, after spending a few nights there, I actually get why they called it that. The space has this really thoughtful layout that makes you feel like someone actually lived there before turning it into a rental, not like those sterile cookie-cutter places you usually find.

The apartment sits pretty well in terms of location – you’re not stuck in some touristy bubble, but you’re also not wandering around lost trying to find a decent coffee shop. What really impressed me was the attention to detail in the design. The lighting is actually good (and trust me, I’ve stayed in places where you need a flashlight to read), and they’ve got this nice mix of modern touches without making everything feel cold and impersonal. The kitchen is properly equipped too – I mean really equipped, not just a mini-fridge and a microwave situation. I ended up cooking a couple of meals because honestly, the setup made it feel natural rather than like a chore.

The whole Wehost operation seems pretty well-organized, which matters more than you might think. Check-in was smooth, no awkward key exchanges or waiting around for someone to show up. The WiFi actually works at decent speeds, the hot water doesn’t run out after five minutes, and the bed is comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with it all night. Look, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury amenities or anything like that, but it gets the fundamentals right in a way that a lot of places surprisingly don’t. The 8.6 rating makes sense to me – it’s solidly good without any major complaints, and honestly, that’s exactly what you want when you’re trying to get some rest between exploring or just need a reliable home base for a few days.

Hotel in Tbilisi booking should be done early, especially during harvest season when the city hosts internationally celebrated wine festivals and cultural events.

  The location is sensational and an incredible part of Tbilisi for easily navigating between the East and West sides. The neighbourhood is very true to Tbilisi and a wonderful way to feel immersed in local life, lots of unique attractions, and a more low-key yet upcoming part of the city.
  Overall we really liked everything, the design was as lovely as promised, access is incredibly straightforward and well-communicated, and it's a rare taste of the real Tbilisi staying in a tucked-away residential courtyard blocks from many of the city's cooler attractions.
  This is accommodation that's ideal for discerning travellers who want to explore an area that's not just the Old Town. Many attractive parts of the city are around 20-30 minutes away on foot. Bolt taxis can find the property with no issues and there's public transport accessible after a short walk, too.

  Прекрасная квартира! Редкий случай, когда реальность соответствует фото, а то и превосходит их! В квартире есть все необходимое (даже посудомойка). Очень чисто, белье белоснежное, мягкое. Аутентичный двор. Сплит системы с функцией отопления в спальнях, что было актуально, на улице было холодно. Станция метро, продуктовые и винные магазины в пешей доступности. Рекомендую!
