Tbilisi has this kind of quiet, almost sleepy vibe that you only notice when you’re walking the cobblestones of Daniel Chonqadze Street. I found myself standing at 9 Daniel Chonqadze Street, heart racing because the building was newer than any of the old stone structures around, but still had that Georgian warmth. The lobby was surprisingly spacious for a 4‑star, with a wooden bar that looked like it belonged in a cafe rather than a hotel. Check‑in was smooth—no long lines, just a friendly receptionist who offered me a map of the old town in the exact same paper that locals use. She told me the best way into the city center is by tram 3, which takes you right by the river and the old bazaar. I was a little surprised to find a small parking space at the back of the building, which was a lifesaver after a long day in the city. The room itself was a clean, minimalist space—no, it wasn’t a luxury hotel in the sense of a spa, but the mattress was surprisingly plush, and the linens were the sort of soft cotton that makes you want to stay in your pajamas for a week.

The real charm of the place comes from the little details. You hear the city in the background—a distant traffic hum, the clink of cups from the street cafés, even the occasional shout from a child playing near the fountain. I spent a morning on the balcony, sipping a latte from the balcony’s small table, and the smell of fresh bread from a bakery across the way drifted in. The rooms are quiet; the nearest street is a few meters away, but the windows are double‑glazed, so the city noise is muffled. I appreciated the small fridge in the room, which is a rare find in hotels of this price point. The bathroom had a surprisingly modern shower, with a rainfall option that made me feel like I was in a luxury spa—though honestly, it was just a very good shower. The Wi‑Fi was fast, and the TV had a decent selection of local channels, which is handy if you’re a night owl.

Practical stuff: parking is free but not huge, so if you’re driving a car, you’ll need to park at the back and walk in. If you’re staying during the summer, expect the city to light up after sunset—traffic gets louder, and the streets fill with people. But the hotel’s location means you’re never far from a quiet corner café or a small park where you can sit and watch the locals. The city’s bus system is reliable, and there’s a metro station just a ten‑minute walk away, making it easy to hop to the mountain resorts in the winter.   This is a hidden gem, beautiful indoor space with two en-suite bedrooms and an extra little loo. Very well equipped kitchen, it had everything we could need. The location is great to explore Tbilisi on foot, Bolt cars can find you easily, just beware that google maps marks it as on the street below, but if you follow the address it is easy to find. We had great communication from the owner and would highly recommend this accommodation

  Luxury House is a beautifully decorated home. It's equipped with almost everything a family might need. Everything we needed to use worked efficiently The location is excellent and we liked the fact that access was through the quiet back courtyard. We felt very privileged to stay here. It's a lovely base to explore the city or just a wonderful space to come work or write.
  
  Although we never met our host, her communication with us on Whatsapp was excellent, making check-in and check-out very easy. This apartment is highly recommended.
  
  What could be improved: Guests need to be careful. The wooden floors are especially slippery if you are wearing socks. Some of the lovely rugs slip easily too and might need skid-proofing pads underneath.

  It looks much better and spacious than at the photos. It was cool inside and we slept very well. The location is a bit up the hill but it is Tbilisi. The kitchen has everything you need for family stay and the laundry location ( aka cellar) is amazing.

  This apartment was an absolute gem! The two en-suite bedrooms provided great privacy and the spacious layout with high ceilings and tasteful decor made it feel luxurious yet cozy. We especially appreciated the reliable heating system—staying warm on chilly nights was no issue.
  
  The private parking in the yard was a huge plus, and the location couldn’t be better: close enough to explore the city center on foot but quiet enough to relax.
  
  Lastly, the host gifting us local specialties—such a thoughtful touch! Highly recommend this place for both comfort and authentic local experiences.
