Luka’s Home Overview
Tbilisi is a city that feels like a giant, warm hug, and Luka’s Home sits right in the middle of that hug on Sulkhan Tsintsadze Street—rain slapping the pavement, the scent of fresh coffee drifting from a nearby bakery. The hotel is tucked into the heart of Saburtalo, a neighborhood that locals love for its mix of old Soviet architecture and new, hip cafés. The street itself is a mosaic of street art and small shops selling handmade jewelry and scarves; you can almost hear the chatter of vendors selling fresh apricots and the occasional clink of glasses from the bar at the corner of Shota Rustaveli Avenue.
When I walked in, the front desk was surprisingly cheerful. The staff didn’t bother with stiff greetings; instead, they chatted about the weather and the best places to eat in the area. The check‑in was quick—no long queues, and the manager handed me a keycard with a smile that said, “Welcome home.” The room was spacious, with a window that looked out onto the city’s skyline, where the old fortresses still stand beside modern glass towers. The bed was plush, the sheets crisp, and the décor was a mix of Georgian folk patterns and minimalist design—really a nice balance. I found a tiny, handwritten note on the nightstand that said, “Enjoy the city’s rhythms; it’s a bit loud at night but it’s part of the charm.” I mean, the city’s nightlife is a riot of music and laughter that spills out onto the streets, and you can almost feel the bass through the walls. The bathroom was surprisingly quiet, a welcome escape after a day of exploring.
Speaking of exploring, the location is perfect for people who want to dig into the city. Within a ten‑minute walk, you’ll find the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre, the charming sulfur baths, and a handful of local eateries—like the little khachapuri joint on Petre P. Beshirashvili Street, where the cheese is melted to a perfect gooeyness. Parking is a bit of a challenge; the closest spot is a paid lot on the opposite side of the street, which is fine if you’re okay with a short walk. If you’re traveling with a vehicle, you can park a short distance away and then hop on a taxi or a bus—public transport runs like clockwork. As for noise, the hotel’s location means you’ll hear the distant hum of traffic, but the building’s windows are well insulated. If you’re a light sleeper, the city’s early morning traffic can be a bit jarring, but the room’s curtains are thick, so you’ll still get a decent rest.
Honestly, I left the hotel feeling both refreshed and a bit more connected to Tbilisi. The staff’s genuine warmth and the city’s lively atmosphere made for a memorable stay. If you’re planning a trip in the warmer months, you’ll experience the city’s bustling streets and the occasional street performer playing a violin—an unexpected delight. In winter, the city takes on a quieter, more reflective tone, and the hotel’s cozy rooms become an even more comforting haven. I’d recommend booking during the shoulder seasons—late spring or early fall—when the crowds thin out but the city’s energy remains high. All in all, Luka’s Home is not just a place to sleep; it’s a base that feels like a conversation with an old friend who knows every hidden corner of Tbilisi.
Hotels in Tbilisi offer visitors the opportunity to stay in the heart of this Caucasian gem, with easy access to museums, thermal baths, and traditional restaurants.

What could be improved: It’s so clean and full equippedExceptional – Asif from Austria – May 29, 2025 (10/10)
The apartment is very cozy and spacious, with three rooms — two comfortable bedrooms and a large, bright living room. There are also two bathrooms, which is very convenient. Unfortunately, the photos don’t capture the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the apartment. The host is kind, responsive, and always ready to help. The location is excellent — all essential shops and the metro are just a short walk away.
A special hello to the host — thank you for the warm welcome and care!Amazing – Manana from United Kingdom – May 27, 2025 (10/10)
We absolutely loved this clean and beautiful apartment! Luka was very friendly and welcoming. The balcony offers a lovely view, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Definitely great value for the money

What could be improved: Все очень неплохо!!! Но всегда чего то не хватает. Лично мне не хватало кофе-машины. Но это мелочь!!!Exceptional – Rzaeva from Russia – August 5, 2025 (10/10)
Мы задержались на границе и в это время с нами не было связи. Но нас встретили, проводили и радушно приняли. Апартаменты превзошли все ожидания. Обязательно вернёмся сюда ещё не раз.
Exceptional – Viktoriia from Czech Republic – July 21, 2025 (10/10)
Anastasia from Ukraine – July 14, 2025 (10/10)
