Love Journey Tbilisi Overview
It’s early September, and I’m stepping out of the Love Journey Tbilisi hotel into the bustling heart of Tbilisi. The street—Zaza Panaskertel‑Tsitsishvili—has that old‑city charm but with a surprisingly modern touch. I’m not looking for a “convenient location” tag; I’m looking for the real pulse, which is right here: a stone‑walled alley that leads straight to the moss‑covered balconies of the Old Town, and just a five‑minute walk to the Rike Park’s water‑splashing fountain. The hotel’s underground parking is a lifesaver, but be ready to pull out onto a narrow lane that’s a bit noisy at night—traffic hums, and the occasional jeep rattles past. I’d say the noise level is a “moderate city buzz” rather than a full‑blown riot. Check‑in is surprisingly breezy; the front desk staff greets you with a warm “Good afternoon!” and scans your ID with a quick swipe. They hand you a key card and a map that’s actually useful, not a generic brochure.
The rooms are where the real storytelling happens. I stayed in a double that’s got a balcony overlooking the river. The view is the kind of “wow” you feel when you first see it, but the real magic is the little details: a hand‑woven rug that feels soft under your feet, a small ceramic mug with a Georgian proverb printed on it, and a note that reads “Enjoy a free bottle of local wine on the balcony.” The bed is a generous mattress with a crisp linen set that smells faintly of lavender—like the hotel’s own little spa. The bathroom is a clean, modern space with a rain shower that feels like stepping into a cloud. The room’s soundproofing is decent; you can hear the city, but it’s not a constant roar. I also found a decent Wi‑Fi password printed on a sticky note, so no frustration there. Breakfast was a local treat: a steaming bowl of khinkali, a side of freshly baked khachapuri, and a pot of strong tea that could wake a whole village. The café area, while not huge, had a corner where the café owner chatted about the best spots for a sunset drink—she mentioned the terrace at the Top 5 Rooftop Bar.
What really sets this place apart is how well it feels integrated into the everyday life of the city. After a day of exploring the sulfur baths, I headed back to the hotel to grab a quick snack from the on‑site bistro—just a few minutes’ walk from the lobby. The staff were quick and friendly, and they even offered me a map of walking routes to the best local coffee shops. I took a detour to the Old Town’s hidden market—an alley full of spices and handmade textiles. The air was thick with cumin and cardamom, and a street vendor offered me a cup of sweet tea with lemon, which I honestly found to be the perfect refreshment after a day of walking. In the evenings, a short walk to the nearby tavern, “Tbilisi’s Pride,” gives you a taste of authentic Georgian hospitality—live music, hearty food, and a welcome that feels like coming home. If you’re planning to stay during the summer peak, be prepared for a bit more hustle; the city’s nightlife kicks off early, and the streets can get busy. But the hotel’s location means you’re never far from the quieter, tree‑lined streets where you can
Early hotels booking in Tbilisi requires advance planning during peak wine seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s legendary hospitality and thermal springs.

Amazing apartment + hospitality – Quierine from Netherlands – December 27, 2024 (10/10)
This was one of the best apartments in my life!
It's really far from the old town and city center, but it's worth it. Bus station nearby, metro station ~20 min.
The apartments in the new building with a nice mountain and city view. Comfortable beds, full kitchenette (you can cook everything that you would like).
Huge TV, washing machine, microwave, stove, dishwasher, airco. Everything works perfectly.
A really good owner/host. Levan was so polite and helpful. He allowed us to check out late, but it's not something usual in Tbilisi.
I'm pretty sure I would like to come back
What could be improved: Noise from neighbors, but it's not dependent on the apartments/owner. TV sound is helping you with itAwesome! – Arjane from Bahrain – December 12, 2024 (10/10)
Love the apartment. it's nice, clean and stylish.its worth the money. Spent a week with my husband
What could be improved: The only thing is that the tub drain needs to be fixed, over all the apartment is great! It was amazing, comfortable and great. – Akansha from Georgia – July 20, 2024 (10/10)
The house was beautiful, well-equipped and cozy. It was a secured location. The stay was comfortable and great. There was a beautiful park nearby so in the evenings a walk there was really amazing. I would definitely want to stay here again.
What could be improved: As there was ongoing construction so one side of the building was blocked. We had an excellent experience in the apartment. – Zahra from France – May 21, 2025 (8/10)
The host was very friendly, the apartment was clean and well equipped.
What could be improved: The kitchen facilities and ware were not enough, but in general it was good. – Natalya from Russia – September 1, 2025 (10/10)
What could be improved: Exceptional – Aleksandr from Russia – April 8, 2025 (10/10)
Exceptional – Нурлыбек from Kazakhstan – April 5, 2025 (10/10)
What could be improved:
