The check‑in was quick, the staff friendly, and the little welcome kit with a bottle of local wine and a map of hidden cafés was a nice touch. The front desk was open until 10 pm, which is handy if you’re checking in late after a night out at the nearby Barbarelis or the vibrant Tbilisi Night Market.

Inside, the apartment feels like a tasteful blend of Georgian charm and modern convenience. The living area is spacious, with a plush sofa that folds into a bed for guests who arrive later in the evening – I found that incredibly useful on a night when I was exhausted from a long day of sightseeing. The kitchen is well‑equipped, though a bit small, so if you’re a cook you’ll appreciate the provided pots, pans, and a kettle that boils water in just a minute. The bathroom has a shower with good water pressure, and the tiles are bright and almost mimic the look of a hotel, but the small details – like the brass towel hooks and the local soap – give it that authentic feel. Noise-wise, the apartment is surprisingly quiet; the street outside is only a few meters away from a tram line, but the sound of the rails is muffled by the building’s thick walls – a nice balance of city buzz without the constant din.

Parking is a plus; there’s a small, private parking lot just behind the building that’s free for guests. If you’re staying in the city center and don’t want to chase a space in the bustling streets, the lot is a relief. The only thing that could use a tweak is the Wi‑Fi speed – it’s reliable, but if you’re a heavy streaming user, you might notice a lag during peak hours. However, the comfortable mattresses and the quiet nights more than make up for that. I also found the neighborhood’s vibe to be a blend of historic charm and modern day hustle: the aroma of fresh coffee from a nearby café fills the air in the mornings, and the sound of a violinist playing in the square at dusk adds a soundtrack to your evening stroll. If you’re planning a visit, try to stay during the shoulder seasons: the spring crowds are manageable, and the streets are less crowded, giving you a more relaxed pace.   Lela is an excellent host – nothing is too much trouble and the apartment is spacious and clean. The location is BRILLIANT for exploring the old town of Tbilisi with all attraction within a ten-minute walk. Access to the courtyard is great so you have outside space in the summer to relax.

  The place is neat & clean, and it is located nearby Freedom Square. Madam Lela is very courteous so with her husband. You can also book your Tour through her husband – Travel Agency which is nearby the apartment. To sum it up, the experience is great and memorable.

  Great location with easy access to the attractions in old town Tbilisi. Lela was very friendly and went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. Nice breakfasts every morning and a special Georgian desert was brought over one evening as an extra bonus. The accomodation was cozy and comfortable. Thank you Lela for your hospitality.
  
  What could be improved: The shower could use some repairs. The tap was leaking, making it difficult to maintain enough pressure for a warm shower. Shouldn’t be too difficult to repair.
