Here’s the thing about the location — couples absolutely love it here, and I can see why. You’re in this residential neighborhood that feels authentically Tbilisi, not some tourist bubble. I mean, you can walk to the main sights without feeling like you’re staying in the middle of a theme park. The parking situation is actually fantastic too, which anyone who’s driven in Tbilisi will tell you is no small miracle. It’s free, and honestly, that alone saves you a headache and probably 30 lari a day.

The Room Experience

My room was — well, let me put it this way — it felt more like staying in a really well-appointed apartment than a hotel room. The space was generous, which you don’t always get in Tbilisi accommodations, and everything felt thoughtfully designed rather than just thrown together. The bed was comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and the bathroom had this nice modern feel without being sterile. What I really appreciated was the attention to small details — good lighting for reading, enough outlets where you actually need them, that sort of thing.

You’ll sleep well, you won’t stress about parking, and you’ll feel like you’re actually staying in Tbilisi rather than some international hotel that could be anywhere. For couples especially, there’s something about the neighborhood and the property itself that just works.

  What I saw was what I got. I liked that it was a small private building on a quiet residential street near the Alvibari Metro. It was exactly like the photos, a studio apartment with an eat in kitchen, washing machine and bathroom with a stall shower. There was a heating/cooling unit set high on the wall operated by remote control. It had windows that opened and the one to the front had an attractive grill to prevent any human being from coming in.
  
  When I am staying for any length of time in a city, I always try to find an apartment away from tourist centers but near public transportation and food stores. This apartment filled the bill. What was a surprise was that the kitchen had a back door to one of those shared courtyards with clotheslines. When I opened that door I was greeted by several community cats looking expectant!
  
  Since both my arrival and departure flights were in the wee hours of the morning before dawn, I hired Koba to pick me up from the airport and to drop me off on my way home. He charged a little more than the Maxim App, but there was no doubt that I would have transportation and it was worth it.
  
  The stove has an oveen, but it has been a long time since I had used a match to light an oven and forgot to ask him how to light it.

  Koba's apartment is a true reflection of Georgian hospitality. Koba greeted me in the early hours of the morning at the airport and helped me settle in.
  
  I enjoyed the apartment. It's comfortable and I was able to work online. It has everything you need for a short or even long-term stay.
