I just got back from Tbilisi, and let me tell you about the place I stayed at – Kita’s apartments ,,2”. The building sits at 11/5 Alexander Griboedov Street, right on the edge of Mtatsminda, so you’re literally on the hill that gives the city its sweeping skyline. The front desk is a tiny, almost hidden spot, but the lady behind it was super friendly, handing over a key card with a smile that felt like a warm welcome from an old friend. Check‑in was quick; no long queues, just a quick chat about your itinerary, and you were out the door in under ten minutes. The apartment itself is modest but clever – two rooms, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a balcony that opens onto a street where you can hear the distant hum of buses and the occasional laughter from a nearby café. The décor is a mix of modern touches and Georgian antiques, giving it a lived‑in vibe instead of a sterile hotel feel.

The real charm of Kita’s is in the details. The Wi‑Fi is fast enough for streaming a documentary functional washing machine, which is a blessing if you’re staying for a week or longer. The bedroom is surprisingly quiet; the only noise that seeps in is the soft thump of traffic from the street below, which is more of a lullaby than a disturbance. Parking is a bit of a hassle – you’ll need to find a spot on the street or use the paid lots a block away, but the city’s public transport makes it easy to get back to the apartment at any time. The kitchen space is compact, but it has everything you need: a coffee maker, a small fridge, and a set of pots that will make you feel like you’re cooking in your own home rather than a hotel kitchen. Honestly, the only critique I have is that the bathroom feels a tad cramped, but the shower is surprisingly efficient and the water pressure is strong.

What makes staying here truly memorable is the neighborhood. If you’re looking for local flavor, you’re not far from the bustling pedestrian zone and a handful of tiny cafés that spill out onto the sidewalks. The street next to the apartment is lined with small bakeries where the scent of freshly baked lavash and sweet pastries will greet you every morning. From the balcony, you can spot the Mtatsminda Park in the distance, and on a clear day you’ll see the old town’s medieval walls and the Kura River glinting in the sun. I’d recommend visiting early in the morning when the city is still quiet – you’ll catch the sunrise over the hills, and the air will be cool and fresh. At night, the lights of Tbilisi wink like a glittering tapestry, and the occasional music from a nearby bar adds a lively backdrop. Overall, it’s a cozy, practical spot that feels like a true home base for exploring the city, with enough character to keep you amused and a few small quirks that add to its charm.

  The location is near to everything, just along shota rustaveli. You could even see the street when you look at the balcony. There is a grocery store just outside the building if you need to buy anything you needed. The room is spacious for us and as right exactly as the photos.
  
  What could be improved: I just felt a little chilly inside as we don’t know how to use the heater.

  Огромная благодарность хозяину,что смогли заселиться в 5 утра ! Бесконечное заселение-очень удобно! Опрятная,красивая квартира, очень удобное местоположение, близко к центру и все необходимое есть рядом. Квартира чистая и есть всё необходимое. Отдельную благодарность хотим выразить хозяину Георгию, который любезно отвечал на все наши вопросы , благодаря ему узнали,что такое грузинское гостеприимство! Если вернемся в Тбилиси, то этот вариант размещения будем рассматривать в первую очередь!

  Отличное место расположения, вход в квартиру с первого этажа, с коляской очень удобно. Всё как на фото, посуды только минимум, мне не хватило бокалов под грузинское вино 😂 и хорошего ножа. . В целом мы отлично отдохнули. Спасибо за гостеприимство!
  
  What could be improved: Из минусов разве что скрипучая кровать)) и требуется мелкий ремонт местами.

  Чистая, хорошая квартира. Расположение отличное, есть маленький балкончик, по утрам пьешь кофе и слышно как поют из консерватории. Очень дружелюбный владелец квартиры, помогал по вопросам не касающихся квартиры. Убираются раз в неделю.

  Расположение, на мое мнение лучшее в городе Тбилиси ,50 метров от Руставели, 20 мин прогулки от ваке, 20 мин прогулки от старого города, магазины рядом как дневные так и круглосуточные, молл рядом, кафе и рестораны рядом, достопримечательности рядом

  Размеры жилья впечатляют, чистота, высота потолков, расположение отличное, шаговая доступность до обоих фуникулеров!! Вся посуда, средства личной гигиены. Отличный душ, 2 кондиционера на 2 комнаты! Сразу около входа магазин SPAR и точка продажи фруктов. Хозяин дружелюбный, отношение к посетителям, как к своей семье!
