I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Joyful Place, I was a bit skeptical. It sounds almost too cheerful, you know? But after spending a few days there, I get it. There’s something genuinely uplifting about this 4-star spot that goes way beyond the name. The moment you walk into the lobby, you’re hit with this warm, inviting atmosphere that feels more like a stylish friend’s home than a typical hotel. The staff actually remembers your name by day two (which, let’s face it, is pretty rare these days), and they have this knack for anticipating what you need before you even ask.

What really sets this place apart is the attention to those little details that most hotels completely miss. The lighting in the rooms is actually functional – you can read without squinting, and there are enough outlets near the bed for all your devices. The shower pressure is fantastic, and the water gets hot immediately, which might sound basic but you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong. The beds are that perfect firmness where you sink in just enough without feeling like you’re being swallowed alive. I mean, I’m usually a light sleeper, but the soundproofing here is impressive – couldn’t hear a thing from the hallway or neighboring rooms. The housekeeping team clearly takes pride in their work too; everything was spotless, and they managed to make towel animals that actually looked like recognizable creatures (my kids were thrilled).

With a 9.9 rating, you might expect this place to be stuffy or overly formal, but it strikes this perfect balance between polished and relaxed. The common areas have these cozy corners where you can actually work on your laptop without feeling like you’re camping out inappropriately, and there’s always fresh coffee available – not the burnt, sitting-around-for-hours kind either. The restaurant serves food that’s genuinely good, not just “good for hotel food,” and the portions are reasonable without being stingy. Honestly, what impressed me most was how they handled the small hiccups that inevitably happen when you’re traveling – a mix-up with our room type got sorted out in minutes with a smile and a genuine apology, plus they threw in a late checkout without us even asking. It’s the kind of place where you find yourself already planning your next visit before you’ve even checked out.

  I recently spent a night at this lovely accommodation and had a wonderful time! The room was spotless and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. The host was incredibly kind and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The place was very cozy. Despite being located right in the heart of the city I was able to work in quietness, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

  Very nice modern apartment, well equipped and organized. Heating was already turned on when we arrived, Despite that the building was in the center of the city, it was very cozy and comfortable, 10 min walking to the old City which is Major tourist sightseeing spot. Fashion brandy shops close by as well as food markets. We have really enjoyed our time in this apartment, on top of appreciating the beautiful Tbilisi. With a little extra we could get a late check out and it helped a lot.We surely recommend the stay here.

  The place is great, has all you need, freshly renovated and clean, on walking distance from the places of interest, shops and malls. I communicated with host for couple of times and he was so helpful, I am grateful for his assistance! I highly recommend this place!

  My family and myself very much enjoyed our stay at this amazing Apartment. It was perfect for our family of 5. We all had plenty of space. The owner is very warm and welcoming and kept us up to date and was very kind enough to let us leave our luggage there for the day whilst we explored Tbilisi which was very appreciated. Just perfect!   Отличная квартира в отличном месте, которое было чистым и ухоженным. Она хорошо оборудована всем необходимым, таким как микроволновая духовка, посудомоечная машина и так далее. Здание было окружено супермаркетами, аптеками. ресторани и торговые центри также находились недалеко. Обязательно посещу это место еще раз, когда буду в Тбилиси. Спасибо!!!

  Тишина и отличный интернет были главными ожиданиями и они оправдались. Помимо этого, в квартире было всё необходимое для жизни: техника, бытовая химия.
  Кондиционеры в двух комнатах из трёх – для летнего Тбилиси просто маст хэв.
