The moment you walk through those doors, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about the details here. The lobby has this warm, lived-in elegance that doesn’t feel stuffy or trying-too-hard, and the staff genuinely seems happy to see you (which, let’s be real, isn’t always the case these days).

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between professional service and personal touches. My room had these little thoughtful details – like actually good coffee (not the usual hotel swill), blackout curtains that actually work, and a shower with proper water pressure that stayed consistent. The beds are seriously comfortable too, which matters more than people think when you’re dealing with travel fatigue. I mean, you can have all the fancy amenities in the world, but if you can’t get a decent night’s sleep, what’s the point? The housekeeping staff clearly takes pride in their work – everything was spotless but not in that sterile, nobody-lives-here way that some hotels have.

The thing that really sets this place apart though is the overall vibe. With a 9.3 rating, you’d expect it to be good, but there’s something about the atmosphere here that just works. Maybe it’s because they’ve figured out how to be attentive without being hovering, or maybe it’s the way the common areas actually feel comfortable enough that you’d want to hang out there. The restaurant isn’t just going through the motions either – I had dinner there twice and both times the food was legitimately good, not just “good for hotel food.” Actually, on my second night, I overheard the manager checking in with different tables, and it wasn’t performative – he genuinely seemed to care about people’s experiences. Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels, and you can usually tell within the first few hours whether a place is just checking boxes or actually trying to create something special. The Iris Hotel falls solidly into the latter category, and honestly, that’s rarer than it should be.

  I would like to note the convenient location of the hotel, all the main attractions of the city are within walking distance from the hotel, a quiet calm street. The room is big and spacious with a wonderful big balcony on the first floor, very comfortable beds with pillows , the room is clean.
  I would especially like to note the friendly, responsive, welcoming staff, always ready to help and solve any problem.

  Brand new hotel, very clean and cosy. It is also very quiet around the hotel, so you can sleep great. It has also a nice view. The room is also very spaceous.

  Very nice and clean rooms. Staff was very accommodating. The rooms toward the back haven't got a view but are quieter. The restaurant on the top floor has very good food and stunning views.
