Hotel Zeg Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Hotel Zeg, I wasn’t expecting much from the outside appearance, but this place really surprised me in the best way possible. It’s one of those solid 4-star properties that actually delivers on what it promises, which you know isn’t always a given these days. The 8.2 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but everything just works really well.

What struck me most was how the staff genuinely seemed to care about getting the details right. Check-in was smooth (no weird hidden fees or pushy upselling), and honestly, the rooms are quite comfortable. I mean, you’re not getting marble bathrooms or anything over-the-top, but the beds are actually good – like, you’ll sleep well good – and the bathrooms are spotless with decent water pressure. The air conditioning works properly too, which sounds basic but you’d be amazed how many places mess that up. There’s this nice attention to little things, like having enough outlets near the bed and blackout curtains that actually block light. The Wi-Fi is reliable throughout the building, which is crucial if you’re trying to get any work done.

You know what really won me over though? The breakfast situation is surprisingly solid – not just the usual sad continental spread, but they actually put effort into it. The coffee is decent (important!), and they rotate some of the offerings so you’re not eating the exact same thing every morning if you’re staying for several days. The common areas have this relaxed vibe where you can actually sit and read or catch up on emails without feeling like you’re in someone’s way. Parking was straightforward too, which saved me the headache of circling blocks looking for a spot. It’s the kind of place where everything feels thoughtfully planned without being stuffy about it. I’d definitely stay here again – sometimes you just want a place that gets the fundamentals right without any drama, and Hotel Zeg delivers exactly that.

  • Natalya from Israel (8/10)

The location was sufficient for me, I chose this hotel only because of it, but anyway the location is perfect. The hotel area is really beautiful, we loved it. The room was stylish, large window with perfect view. One of the most cosy places I've seen. Close to many attractions as far as I understand, I was there on business and haven't seen much. Really a charming place.

  • Gad from Israel (9/10)

    Very nice and helpful staff.
I stayed one night then went up north for a 3 day trek and came back. They agreed to keep part of my luggage, I did not need for the trek.
It did help me a lot.
