Hotel Twenties Tbilisi – Stay & Dine Overview
Tbilisi, you know how it feels when the city’s old charm meets the buzz of modern life? If you’ve ever walked the cobblestone lanes of the old town and then found yourself in a sleek, hip apartment overlooking a quiet courtyard, you’ll instantly get the vibe of Hotel Twenties Tbilisi – Stay & Dine. I’ve stayed here twice, once in the spring when the city’s gardens are bursting and again during the winter when the lights on Rustaveli Avenue look like a fairy‑tale streetlamp parade. The hotel sits on 5 Louis Pasteur Street in Chugureti, a neighborhood that’s sort of a sweet spot between the historic center and the newer business district. The street itself is lined with old Soviet‑era apartment blocks that now host cafés, art galleries, and that quirky bookstore you’ll find on the corner—perfect for a late‑night wander.
The first thing that hits you is the lobby’s minimalist design—black marble, a single statement art piece, and a real warmth that comes from the staff. They greet you with a smile that feels like a friendly nod from a neighbor. Check‑in is quick; the front desk clerk asks for your passport, flips a few cards, and hands you a key card that’s as sleek as a smartphone—no long queues or paperwork that feels like you’re applying for a visa. They’ll point out the nearest metro stop (Mtkvari), the best bus routes, and the best time to visit the Tbilisi Zoo, which is just a ten‑minute walk away if you’re in the mood for a Latin‑inspired animal park. Parking is a bit of a challenge—there’s a small parking garage a few steps away, but you’ll need to pay a daily fee, so it’s not exactly free. If you’re driving, consider taking the metro instead; it’s quick, and you’ll avoid the traffic that can build up on Rustaveli after 5 p.m.
Room service? Oh, it’s a gem. The breakfast buffet is an open‑air spread, with fresh Georgian pastries—khachapuri, badrijani, and the kind of honey you can taste the forests in. The room itself feels like a quiet sanctuary: a soft, velvety carpet, a window that offers a view of the city’s rooftops, and a bathroom that’s been renovated with a touch of industrial chic. The noise level is pretty low; you can hear the distant hum of city traffic and the occasional street musician, but it’s not intrusive. The Wi‑Fi is reliable, which is a relief for someone who likes to sketch or work on the go. The only thing that might be a slight hiccup is the minibar—some items are pricey, but the selection is decent for a quick snack. Overall, the hotel feels like a modern loft that you’d want to return to after a long day of exploring Tbilisi’s eclectic mix of cultures and cuisines. Whether you’re in town for business or leisure, this place offers a comfortable, stylish base that feels just like a second home—well, almost, because you’re still surrounded by the vibrant buzz of a city that never really sleeps.

Reviews of Hotel Twenties Tbilisi – Stay & Dine
Definitely come back again! – Anastasiia from United States – August 24, 2025 (9/10)
Very nice design, great room, AC is working great, bottled water in every room, towels changed every day, super clean and comfortable
What could be improved: We didn’t have shower doors and the floor was covered in water after taking a shower.Exceptional – Nina from Poland – August 20, 2025 (10/10)
The hotel is located in the center of Tbilisi, close to the metro station. The room was large and spacious with a beautiful view of the city and hills. The hotel staff is very friendly.
What could be improved: The bathroom was impressive, but upon closer inspection, some defects could be noticed. It was impossible to take a bath because the plug did not fit the drain and the water drained quickly. The shower head leaked to the sides when in use.Excellent service – Galina from Israel – August 17, 2025 (10/10)
Clean rooms, very nice staff, warm attitude, best service, good value for money, lovely restaurant.
What could be improved: We loved the restaurant by the hotel.
The only problem, they close at 23:00. It could be nice if they stayed open a few hours more. As there is such a nice atmosphere that you don't feel time at all and makes you want to sit the till late 😊
Maybe breakfasts should be improved a little bit.

The hotel is comfortable and cozy, I really liked the room’s design, the room was also big enough to accommodate.
What could be improved: The breakfast is ok-ish, not super fancy and tasty, but it’s definitely not the worst breakfast I’ve ever eaten.Great! Would reccomend. – Katherine from United States – August 13, 2025 (9/10)
The staff was really great!
What could be improved: The lighting in the rooms was a bit dark.Good hotel with not worthy breakfast – Anna from Russia – August 12, 2025 (8/10)
the room was good, big, comfy bed, good shower, I like hairdryer and steamer.
What could be improved: breakfast was disappointment, I was expecting much more, might be because of the pictures, which apparently were not close to reality.
the Hotel is located inside the yard that closed by barrier, so the taxi drops off and picks up on the street and after that you should walk like 50 meters even if it is rainy.A Taste of Georgian Hospitality – Muaz from Israel – August 12, 2025 (10/10)
One of the highlights of my stay was the Georgian food served at the hotel. Every dish was a celebration of local flavors—like perfectly baked khachapuri The ingredients were fresh, and the meals were prepared with care and authenticity. It was a fantastic way to experience the culinary traditions of Georgia without leaving the hotel.
Nice to spend a weekend here – Ivan from Serbia – July 29, 2025 (10/10)
The quite and peaceful Tbilisi yard, hospitable team, the room and the bed.
