The rooms are honestly quite comfortable, and the 8.7 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed there. I mean, sure, the walls are a bit thicker than modern hotels so the WiFi can be spotty in some corners, but that’s kind of refreshing actually. The bathrooms have been updated tastefully – none of that jarring modern-meets-medieval clash you sometimes get in older properties. And here’s something I didn’t expect: the beds are really good. Like, surprisingly good for a place that clearly prioritizes character over corporate comfort standards.

The thing that stuck with me most was how the hotel sits in relation to everything around it. You’re close enough to hear the occasional street sounds during the day, but it gets properly quiet at night. Check-in was smooth – no waiting around or complicated procedures. The front desk person actually gave me restaurant recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist spots, which tells you they know their neighborhood. Parking can be a bit tricky during busy periods (honestly, when isn’t it in these older city centers?), but they’ll sort you out if you call ahead. I’d definitely go back, especially if you’re the type who appreciates places with some soul to them rather than sterile perfection.

  The place is cozy, it's just next to where the old city starts, easily one can walk and go to the places nearby like waterfall and the monument.
