I was surprised to find a small balcony, which was perfect for sipping a cappuccino while listening to the distant bells of the Sioni Cathedral. The Wi‑Fi was solid most of the time, but I did notice a lag when I tried to stream a documentary about the Caucasus. Still, the speed was plenty for checking emails and scrolling through Instagram.

Breakfast was a highlight – a spread of local pastries, fresh fruit, and a generous selection of cheeses that reminded me of the markets in Tbilisi’s old bazaar. The staff even offered a sample of the café’s signature latte, which had just the right balance of espresso and steamed milk. The noise level in the hotel was surprisingly low; the building’s soundproofing really works. Though, if you’re a light sleeper, you might catch the occasional traffic hum from the main road. The only real critique I have is that the room’s closet could use more hooks for your hiking gear – I brought a pair of boots and had to store them in the room’s small dresser. Overall, though, the experience was genuinely warm and lived‑in, the kind of place that feels like a friend’s apartment rather than a corporate hotel. I’ll definitely recommend it to anyone looking to explore Tbilisi’s historic heart while still having a comfortable, stylish base to return to.

  What could be improved: I stayed first for 2 nights and stayed in a room with lift, after coming from tusheti i booked again another 3 days however i was given a room on the other side without a lift. Both side should have lift.
