You’ve got proper lighting for reading (thank god), outlets where you need them, and the kind of blackout curtains that actually work. The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet at night, which wasn’t what I expected being so close to the city center. There’s this perfect balance where you’re not dealing with traffic noise, but you’re also not stranded somewhere requiring expensive taxi rides every time you want to explore. I could walk to most of the places I wanted to see, and when I couldn’t, getting around was straightforward. Parking wasn’t a nightmare either, which – if you’ve driven in Georgian cities – you know is basically a miracle.

Here’s the thing that really sold me on this place: it feels like someone who actually travels designed it. Little touches that show they understand what matters when you’re away from home. The Wi-Fi works everywhere, not just “technically” in your room. The shower pressure is fantastic, and the water gets properly hot without that weird five-minute warm-up dance. They’ve got that sweet spot of being attentive without being hovering – you know they’re there if you need something, but they’re not constantly asking if everything’s okay. After staying at places where you either feel ignored or suffocated, that balance is refreshing. If you’re looking for a place in Tbilisi that just… works really well, this is it. Not flashy, not trying to be something it’s not, just solidly excellent at being a hotel.
