Hotel Address 9D Overview

First Impressions

When I first walked into Hotel Address 9D, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from the name — it sounds more like a street address than a hotel, right? But you know what, sometimes the best places have the most understated names. This four-star property sits in what locals consider the prime area of Tbilisi, and after spending a few days here, I can see why couples give the location such high marks. There’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole place that immediately puts you at ease.

The Neighborhood Advantage

The location really is something special — I mean, you’re right in the heart of where things actually happen in Tbilisi. What I loved most was how walkable everything felt from here. You can easily stroll to the old town’s cobblestone streets, but you’re also close enough to the modern parts of the city that you don’t feel stuck in tourist-land. The area has this perfect mix of authentic Georgian life and accessibility that’s honestly hard to find. I noticed quite a few local cafes and small shops within a few blocks, which always tells me I’m staying somewhere real rather than just convenient for tourists.

Room Comfort and Amenities

My room was actually larger than I expected — Georgian hotels can be hit or miss with space, but this one got it right. The setup felt modern without being sterile, and I appreciated the attention to small details like decent lighting for reading and enough outlets near the bed. What really stood out was how quiet everything was, even though we’re in a busy part of the city. The housekeeping was thorough too, which matters more than people realize when you’re staying somewhere for several nights.

Breakfast and Practical Perks

The breakfast spread here deserves a mention — they’ve got continental options alongside vegetarian and vegan choices, which is pretty progressive for Tbilisi. I’m not usually a buffet person, but the quality was consistently good, and they clearly put effort into accommodating different dietary needs. The free parking is honestly a game-changer if you’re driving in Georgia. Parking in central Tbilisi can be a nightmare, so having a guaranteed spot takes away a major stress factor. It’s one of those practical touches that makes a real difference in your daily routine.

Why Guests Love It

After staying here, I get why this place scores so well with visitors — it’s that sweet spot between location, comfort, and value that’s surprisingly hard to nail. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay work, without being overly formal about it. You’re getting solid four-star comfort in what’s arguably the best part of the city for exploring, and the whole experience feels authentic rather than manufactured. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in and actually feel like you’re experiencing Tbilisi rather than just passing through it.

Best hotels in Tbilisi range from charming boutique properties in the historic Old Town to elegant hillside hotels with stunning views of the Mtkvari River and Narikala Fortress.

Spacious room and bathroom. Clean linen and towels, polite staff. Good hairdryer in the room. The hotel is in a quiet place. The hotel made concessions to me in canceling the second room, I am grateful for that.

  • Vishal from Oman (8/10)

The hotel was quite pleasant, clean and good value for money. Irakli at the front desk was outstanding. He really took an extra effort to make guests comfortable . Yanis was very helpful too.

    Clean, nice view.

  • Imad from Lebanon (9/10)

I was impressed with the friendly and helpful staff. My room was spotless and very comfortable. While the hotel is situated in a residential area, it's something to consider if you prefer a more central location.
Overall, a great stay, but keep the location in mind if you're looking to be in the heart of the action.

  • Hanxiao from Qatar (9/10)

Overall amazing stay. Nice facilities and friendly staff. Room is very clean. The top floor was amazing as the bathtub was wide and the views were stunning.

Be sure to double check this location with where you want to visit though as the drive the the hotel is on uphill terrain with narrow roads.

  • Sukhrob from Uzbekistan (10/10)

    The location and stuff

  • Janet from United Arab Emirates (9/10)

For a boutique hotel, the property was very decent and elegant. The room size is big and has a lot of space to move around. Staff are very nice, especially the cook who is very helpful and accomodating. I was not able to get the name of the very nice lady in the reception, very warm and friendly, she seemed to be the owner. The guys, Iqarli and all are also friendly. Breakfast was simple and limited, but is tasty. We got a balcony which has an amazing view of the city. Their pillows and bed are also very comfortable!

The hotel is within a local and peaceful community (most boutique hotel are), compared to the oldtown area, their surrounding is quiet and peaceful so we had a very good rest and sleep. We were supposed to try another hotel around Old Town when we came back to Tblisi after a Gudauri stay, but their room was very small and the place is very busy so we came back here another night. And it was indeed a very good decision!
