I particularly loved how quiet it stays – even though you’re right in the city, the soundproofing is surprisingly good, which anyone who’s tried to sleep in Tbilisi’s busier areas will appreciate.

What really sets HOME/tbilisi apart, though, is the attention to those small details that most places completely overlook. The lighting is actually adjustable in ways that make sense for different times of day, the Wi-Fi works consistently throughout the building (not always a given in Georgia), and – this might sound minor but it’s not – they’ve figured out water pressure in a way that many fancier hotels haven’t. The staff strikes this perfect balance between being helpful without hovering, and they seem to genuinely know the neighborhood well enough to give recommendations that go beyond the usual tourist spots. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that drawn-out process where they try to upsell you on everything imaginable. Honestly, the whole experience feels more like you’re borrowing a friend’s place than staying in a hotel, which I suspect is exactly what they’re going for with that name. If you’re looking for something that combines reliability with actual character – and you appreciate when places deliver on their promise rather than just talking a good game – this one’s worth considering.

  Stunning apartment in a modern building, located on a quiet and cozy street, in the very center of Tbilisi, literally a three-minute walk from Independence Square. The apartment we rented was quite spacious, with two bedrooms, a living room combined with a small kitchen, a spacious bathroom and a large balcony. It is modernly renovated and well equipped, with very comfortable beds, central air conditioning, a huge balcony with a beautiful view of the city and the hill. The host, Giorgi, is very welcoming, helpful and kind. We definitely recommend it.
