Heart of Tbilisi Overview
When I walked up the cobbled steps of 9 Kojori Street, the first thing that hit me was that burst of Georgian hospitality – you know, that warm, almost palpable welcome that only the heart of a city can give. I mean, this place is literally the Heart of Tbilisi, and it shows that in every corner. The lobby was a blend of old‑world charm and modern minimalism; a large stone fireplace, a few local ceramic vases, and a coffee bar that smelled like fresh brews and the faint hint of pastries from the bakery on the corner of Sioni and Vake. Check‑in was quick – the front desk had a friendly local barista‑turned‑receptionist who knew all the best spots for dinner. Actually, she recommended a hidden gem on Pirosmani Street. Parking? No hassle – there’s a small paid lot just a block away, and the street itself offers free meter parking if you’re willing to shuffle your luggage at the curb.
The room was a quiet oasis after a day of exploring; the bed was unbelievably comfy, and the linens had that soft, almost cotton‑like texture that makes you want to stay in bed all day. The bathroom was sleek, with a rain shower that sounded like a gentle waterfall. I could hear the distant chatter of people on the street and the occasional clatter of a tram – not too loud, not too quiet, just that perfect city hum. The Wi‑Fi was spotty at times, but the hotel’s internal network was reliable – a small win for anyone who needs to check a flight or two. You know what, the elevator takes a bit longer than it should, but the view from the 4th floor is worth the wait. On the top floor, there’s a small balcony overlooking the Old Town – the view of the Metekhi church and the winding lanes is unforgettable, especially at sunset.
All in all, this place feels like a home away from home, but with that extra touch of Georgian flair. I’d say it’s a great base if you want to be right in the thick of the city but still have a quiet retreat to return to. The only real downside is the parking fee, but that’s a small price for the convenience. If you’re planning a trip in the summer, brace yourself for the lively crowds and the buzz of the city around you; but on a Sunday morning, you’ll find the streets almost silent, with only the faint rustle of leaves from the nearby Tbilisi Botanical Garden. Honestly, there’s no better way to experience the city’s pulse than staying here.

This is wonderful place to stay in Tbilisi and my only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer :-). Super confy bed and pillows, big fridge and small but practical kitchen, lovely bathroom, good internet and amazing location in a quiet street of the old city, with bars, restaurants and supermarkets just around the corner, haaaa and the best patisserie in town just 2 minutes walk. Couldn’t recommend more…thank you Alma

What could be improved: NullA Great Apartment and a Great Host – Matthew from United States – December 24, 2024 (10/10)
My first visit to Tbilisi and both this studio apartment and the host Alma made it a truly relaxed and enjoyable time. The apartments location was perfect for visiting all the sights of the city but also in a calming neighborhood with markets, cafes, restaurants and bars. Alma provided an abundance of fantastic recommendations(names/maps) and detailed arrival information(videos/photos) that helped in my knowing the apartment and city even before I checked-in. I would definitely stay at this apartment on another visit to Tbilisi.
