I stayed there during shoulder season in late spring, and the stone walls kept everything cool during the day while the neighborhood came alive with that perfect Georgian evening energy.

The location is where this place really shines, though – you’re literally steps away from the sulfur baths (you can actually smell that distinctive mineral scent if the wind’s right), and the climb up to Narikala Fortress is basically your morning jog route if you’re into that sort of thing. I loved how you could disappear into the winding streets and discover tiny wine bars or stumble across impromptu street musicians, then be back in your apartment within minutes. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, parking… well, let’s just say you’re better off without a car in this part of town anyway. The only minor thing I’d mention is that sound carries in these old buildings, so if you’re a super light sleeper, pack earplugs – though honestly, the ambient sounds of the old city become part of the charm after a night or two.   The host was friendly and lives just next door. There is a language barrier but she makes efforts to communicate. Nice and cosy place and feels like home.. Quiet neighborhood and feels safe even when walking after midnight. A 5-minute walk to Tbilisi Pushkin Square.

  Very cosy apartment in a fabulous location in the old city. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The lady owner was especially lovely. She showed me where the supermarket and bank was and also some good places to eat. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that likes to have a kitchen to make breakfast or simple meals.

  Great apartment in an excellent location. A lovely family were available across from the apartment in case we needed anything. Lovely also to have the balcony. Was cleaned well and had some nice touches like a complimentary fruit bowl, interesting literature and nice artwork.
