HB apartments Botsvadze Overview

I first bumped into Tbilisi when I was strolling down the cobblestone lanes of the Old Town, the scent of roasted chestnuts from a nearby vendor drifting through the air. The HB apartments Botsvadze are tucked right on Zeinab Botsvadze Street, just a stone’s throw from the bustling Rustaveli Avenue. Seriously, if you’re looking for a place that feels like a local’s home, this spot’s got that vibe. The building’s façade is a mix of modern glass and old stone, which feels oddly comforting in a city that’s always reinventing itself. I was pleasantly surprised by the staff’s warm greeting—they were quick to help with my luggage and even offered a of the area with my own handwritten notes. Honestly, the check‑in process was smooth; I didn’t have to wait long, and the front desk manager even chatted about the best spots to grab lunch at the nearby Lisi Lake Café, which I haven’t tried yet.

The apartment itself is a cozy 2‑bedroom setup with a kitchenette that surprisingly well‑equipped I love that there’s a small balcony where you can sit with a cup of Georgian coffee and hear the city’s daily rhythm—honestly, the traffic hum from the street below is a constant reminder that you’re in the heart of the city, but it’s not loud enough to disturb a good night’s sleep. The room’s décor is a tasteful mix of local art and contemporary furnishings; a few of those hanging textiles from the Samtavro Monastery add a touch of authenticity. Wi‑Fi is decent, though I had to reset it a couple of times during late‑night streaming of the local football match on the big screen. The bathroom has a hot shower that’s just the right temperature, and the towels—plush, no, just the right thickness—make you feel like you’re at a luxury hotel without the extra cost. Parking is a bit of a hassle; you’ll need to weave through the narrow streets in front of the building, but there are a few paid spots a block away on Mtskheta Street if you don’t mind the walk.

When I stepped out for a walk, the real charm of the area revealed itself. I found a small, family‑run bakery on Shota Rustaveli Street where the smell of fresh khachapuri mingled with the distant call of vendors selling handmade jewelry. A few minutes later, I was at the Metekhi Bridge, watching the sunset paint the city skyline in hues of orange and pink. If you’re a night owl, the bars in the vicinity of Freedom Square are lively, though the noise can start to seep in by 11 pm. During the peak tourist season, the streets are bustling, but I found the apartment’s insulation to be pretty good—my sleep was mostly undisturbed, except for the occasional muffled laughter drifting from the hallway. For the most part, the staff were attentive but not intrusive, which is perfect for travelers who want a bit of privacy. If you’re planning a trip to Tbilisi, the HB apartments Botsvadze is a solid choice that feels more like a home than a hotel—just remember to bring a pair of comfortable shoes for the uneven cobblestones, and you’ll be set for an authentic Georgian stay.

Reviews of HB apartments Botsvadze

  • Exceptional – Zoltan from Hungary – October 3, 2024 (10/10)

Great little apartment with nice furniture. Also pretty close to a metro station, so it's easy to get to anywhere. There was a very friendly cat walking around the garden, we gave him food a few times, he really enjoyed it and liked to be petted.

What could be improved: It didn't bothered us but be aware that you can only reach the place via stairs at the end of a very steep street (our taxi driver didn't want to bring us to the top), so if you have heavy luggage, might not be the best place for you.

  • Exceptional – Iuliia from Georgia – July 24, 2024 (10/10)

I had everything I needed in the appartement, thank you

Anastasia from Kazakhstan – August 13, 2025 (10/10)

What could be improved: Немного трудно открывать и закрывать дверь

  • Все очень понравилось – Iuliia from Georgia – June 11, 2024 (10/10)

What could be improved: У меня был большой чемодан, его было тяжело поднять по лестнице во двор, но это всего 10 ступеней.

  • Good – Heeae from South Korea – August 20, 2025 (7/10)

What could be improved:
