HB apartments Aghmashenebeli III Overview
I booked HB apartments Aghmashenebeli III in Tbilisi and honestly, the first thing that struck me was how the apartment feels like a home rather than a standard hotel room. The lobby is modest, but the staff greet you with a warm smile that instantly eases the jet‑lag nerves. Check‑in is a quick process: a digital key fob that you swipe into the door, and a friendly local explains the Wi‑Fi password in a playful, almost teasing tone. The apartment itself is laid out in a way that a traveler can feel like they’re in a cozy flat. The living space opens onto a balcony that overlooks the city’s mix of old stone and modern glass—perfect for a late‑afternoon coffee, and you can hear the distant hum of traffic from Davit Aghmashenebeli Avenue, which is right next to the building.
The location is a real gem if you know how to navigate the streets. The building’s address literally says “82 Davit Aghmashenebeli Avenue,” so if you’re looking to stroll beyond the hotel, you can walk north to the bustling Chugureti market, where the stalls are full of fresh produce and the scent of roasted chestnuts lingers in the air. A few minutes down the road, you’ll find the old town’s stone lanes—just a short hop to the Metekhi Church and the Sulphur baths, where the steam feels like a gentle hug. If you’re after a mix of history and nightlife, just head over to Rustaveli Avenue; it’s lined with quirky cafés and small boutiques that feel as lively as any big capital. The only downside is that the area can get a bit noisy during the peak evening rush, but that’s to be expected around the city center.
Parking is a bit of a hassle, honestly—there’s no dedicated spot for the apartment, so you’ll have to rely on street parking. It’s usually manageable, but you might need to circle a few blocks to find a spot during the high season. When I stayed during early spring, the streets were buzzing with people and the scent of blooming azaleas filled the air, making the city feel alive. I found that the best time to explore the city’s streets is early morning, before the crowds arrive; the quiet hours let you catch the real rhythm of the city without the usual noise. The apartment’s windows provide a good view of the city, but the noise level from the avenue is noticeable, especially at night—though I’m sure most travelers find it a normal part of city life.
The apartment’s interior is thoughtfully designed. The walls are painted in soothing neutrals, and the furnishings are modern but not overly flashy—just the kind of aesthetic that makes you want to stay in for a while. The kitchen is fully equipped; I made a quick breakfast of eggs and a fresh loaf that I picked up from a nearby bakery. The bathroom feels surprisingly spacious, with a glass shower that’s a bright, clean space that makes it a pleasure to get ready for the day. The linens feel soft, and the mattress is medium‑firm, which is perfect for a city stay. The only thing I found a bit off was the slightly squeaky floorboards in the hallway—an old building, but a minor quirk that doesn’t detract from the overall comfort.
One of the things I appreciate most about HB apartments Aghmashenebeli III is the attention to small details that matter to travelers. The building’s concierge was incredibly helpful, recommending a hidden gem—a small café on the corner of Gorgasali and Gorgasliani streets—where the coffee is strong and the pastries are surprisingly light. The local staff also suggested a walking tour of the Tbilisi Old Town that I hardly had the chance to join due to timing, but I caught up on the highlights later. The apartment’s layout allows for a quiet evening in, with a comfortable sofa that becomes a perfect spot for a movie or a book. The only critique I have is

Nice clean apartment – Neil from United Kingdom – July 20, 2024 (9/10)
Beautiful apartment. One bed with kitchen and shower room. Very clean and modern with all that you need in an apartment. Good bed and nice bedding great so far.
What could be improved: The apartment is in a garden compound with other homes. Each night the people sit outside enjoying life and having fun. Music laughter and goes on late. Because our stay was short we had no issue, but as a factor it is not a quiet place to stay.
Also shower is hot and has great pressure, but full-on will flood as water does not exit quick enough.Very Good – Di from Italy – January 3, 2025 (8/10)
Идеальная квартира! – Sofiia from Cyprus – January 12, 2024 (10/10)
Exceptional – Alex from United States – June 8, 2025 (10/10)
