Happy Apartment 7 Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Happy Apartment 7 on Ivane Tarkhnishvili Dead End, you immediately get that “local secret” vibe — it’s tucked away on this quiet little street, but honestly, you’re right in the thick of everything. The building itself has that classic Tbilisi character, and I mean, when you see that location score of 8.9, it’s not just marketing fluff. You can actually feel why couples love this spot so much — there’s something intimate about being on a dead-end street while still being steps from the main action.
The Heart of Old Tbilisi
This four-star place sits in what locals genuinely consider the real heart of Tbilisi, and after spending time here, I get it. You’re walking distance from Rustaveli Avenue, but you’re also close enough to wander into the old sulfur bath district without planning your whole day around it. The narrow streets around here tell stories — you know what I mean? You’ll find yourself stumbling onto little wine bars and traditional Georgian restaurants that aren’t trying to be tourist traps. It’s the kind of neighborhood where you can grab fresh khachapuri from a corner bakery at 8 AM and feel like you’re living like a local.
The Apartment Experience
The apartment itself strikes that sweet spot between having your own space and getting proper hotel service. You’ve got a full kitchen setup, which honestly saves you when you want morning coffee without getting dressed or when you pick up those amazing Georgian spices from the market and actually want to use them. The room layout feels thoughtful — not cramped like some city apartments can be, but not so big that it feels impersonal either. Everything works the way it should, and there are those little touches that show someone actually cares about the guest experience.
Why Couples Keep Coming Back
That 8.7 rating from couples isn’t random — there’s something about this setup that just works for two people exploring the city together. Maybe it’s having your own space to decompress after walking Tbilisi’s hills all day, or the fact that you can grab wine from one of the nearby shops and actually have a proper place to enjoy it. The dead-end location means you’re not dealing with street noise, but step out the door and you’re immediately connected to everything that makes this city special. It feels like you’re staying in someone’s well-appointed guest space rather than just another hotel room.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Tbilisi has plenty of places to stay, but this one gets the balance right. You’re not paying for amenities you won’t use, but you’re also not roughing it. The location genuinely delivers — I’ve stayed in places that claim to be central but leave you hiking uphill for twenty minutes to get anywhere interesting. Here, you walk out and you’re already where things are happening. Plus, there’s something to be said for having that apartment flexibility when you’re in a city known for its incredible food scene and wine culture. You can be spontaneous without feeling like you’re missing out on the comforts that make a trip actually relaxing.

Great apartment. My second visit.
Good location. Bright. Big balcony and reasonable view. Located in a quiet area, and the building is quiet.
The housekeeper doesn't speak English, but is lovely and cleans the apartment a bit during your stay if you're there for a while (and is more active than most places you stay in Tbilisi). She even did my laundry.Anton from Russia (8/10)
Apartment is located in a city center 5 minutes walk from the Vake district.
10 minutes walk from the apartment there is Rustaveli metro station. The location is a best for if you are traveling for both, business and leisure.
Apartment is fully equipped and cozy.Jamie from United Kingdom (9/10)
Great little apartment. Good location, but kind of in a courtyard / backstreet so away from the noise.
Clean. Good view.
Friendly host and housekeeper, and one of the neighbours helped me too.
Would happily stay again.Iulianna from Russia (9/10)
The apartment is spacious, well designed, brightly lit! The housekeeper is so welcoming and helpful! The place has great views and is located in a great neighbourhood. There are so many cozy coffee shops and little cafes nearby, yet the Vere district itself is still pretty quiet! It's located in between Vake district (lively modern but super expensive) and the historic center (~20 min walk to the very heart of the city). So it's definitely my preferred location. There are multiple parks in a walking distance, lot's of grocery stores and a modern gym. Great place for a longer vacation!

Apartment is cozy, view from private balcony is just sublime (you can enjoy sunsets and mountains every day). TV is big and chilling on the couch in the living room is a joy. Location is great, all places of interest, restaurants and supermarkets are really close.
