Gsth Mila Overview

I just stayed at Gsth Mila in Tbilisi, and honestly, it felt like a secret spot you’d stumble upon if you’re wandering the cobbled lanes of the city rather than following the usual tourist trail. The hotel sits on 27 Ioseb Grishashvili Street, a block away from the old city’s chatter and the faint scent of fresh bread from the nearby bakery, so you’re practically in the middle of the action. The street itself is lined with a mix of old Soviet-era buildings and sleek Georgian facades, giving it that unique, layered vibe that only Tbilisi can pull off. I mean, you’ll notice the flickering street lamps at night and the occasional street musician filling the air with a soft, melancholy violin tune. That’s the kind of subtle soundtrack that makes you feel grounded.

Check‑in was surprisingly smooth – the staff greeted me with a warm smile and handed over a keycard that worked with a simple tap. The lobby, while modest, had a cozy feel, with a couple of mismatched chairs and a small wooden coffee table that looked like it belonged in a vintage shop. They didn’t offer a fancy welcome drink, but there was a small fridge with bottled water and local mineral water – a tiny, thoughtful touch. And parking? They have a paid lot just around the corner – it’s a bit of a walk, but you’ll get a great view of the city lights from the roof. The only thing that was a bit noisy was the traffic on Ioseb Grishashvili Street, especially at 7 am when the city’s buses and taxis rush by. But honestly, the sound of the city waking up was almost comforting. I get that if you’re a night owl, you might want to stay somewhere quieter, but for a daytime explorer, it’s fine.

The room itself was a bit on the smaller side, but it had a balcony that overlooked the city’s skyline, which, honestly, was worth every square foot. The bed was comfortable, though the mattress was a tad firm – not a deal‑breaker, but something to be aware of. The bathroom looked pristine, with a nice shower that had a decent water pressure. The only hiccup was that the Wi‑Fi signal was a bit weak in the room – you might need to move near the window to get a stable connection. But the view and the quiet of the early mornings made up for that. If you’re visiting during the busy summer months, expect the streets to be bustling and the temperatures to rise, so bring a light jacket for the evenings. In winter, the city quiets down, and you can roam around without being chased by the crowds. I’d say it’s a solid four‑star experience if you’re willing to trade a little space for a lot of local vibe and convenience.

  • Отличный вариант в сердце Старого города – Lada from Georgia – July 28, 2025 (9/10)

Один из лучших вариантов за все время моих путешествий. Был даже утюг с доской, фен, молчу уж про свою кухню, просторные помещения, два телевизора, большой холодильник.

What could be improved: Окна выходят во двор и на стену. Увы, не успели купить чай и кофе вечером, оказалось в номере их нет – мелочь, но дешевый вариант можно же положить 🙏
Лестница в туалет и душ, не совсем ночью удобно

  • Exceptional – Svetlana from Russia – May 28, 2025 (10/10)
