The moment I walked into the lobby, it felt like someone had perfectly balanced old-world elegance with modern comfort – and I mean that in the best possible way. The name suggests something grand and historic, and honestly, it delivers on that promise without feeling stuffy or intimidating. I’ve stayed at plenty of four-star places that try too hard, but this one just gets it right.

The staff here actually seem to enjoy their jobs, which is rarer than you’d think. During check-in, the front desk manager didn’t just hand me a key card and point toward the elevators – he took a minute to ask about my travel plans and gave me some genuinely useful local tips. My room was on the fourth floor, and I have to say, whoever designed these spaces understood that business travelers and tourists want the same things: good lighting for reading, a desk that’s actually usable, and a bathroom where you don’t have to perform gymnastics to take a shower. The beds are properly firm (not that weird hotel-soft that leaves you with a backache), and the linens feel expensive without being fussy.

What really impressed me, though, was how quiet everything was. You’d expect some hallway noise or street sounds, but I slept better here than I do at home. The housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive – they somehow managed to clean around my laptop charger and travel documents without moving anything, which shows attention to detail. Breakfast runs until 10 AM on weekends, which is civilized, and the coffee is actually good (not that bitter hotel lobby stuff that tastes like it’s been sitting there since yesterday). The 9.2 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be the flashiest place in town, but everything works exactly as it should. If you’re looking for a place where you can focus on why you’re traveling instead of dealing with hotel drama, this is it.

  The location of the hotel in the center of Tbilisi is excellent. The hotel staff are very kind and polite and guide the guests well. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and one feels relaxed. It has a complete and very good breakfast. Overall, I liked the hotel very much and I will definitely recommend it to other guests. I would like to thank the Graf Hotel Group for providing me three comfortable nights.
