Honestly, the location here is pretty much perfect if you want to experience authentic Tbilisi. You’re literally steps from Narikala Fortress and the sulfur baths district — I mean, you can walk to the famous Abanotubani area in about three minutes. The narrow streets around Gomi Street are lined with wine bars, traditional restaurants, and those charming little shops selling Georgian ceramics and textiles. What I really appreciate is that you’re in the thick of things but on a residential street, so it’s not touristy chaos right outside your door. Plus, having private parking on-site is actually a huge deal in this part of the city where finding a spot can be a nightmare.

The Rooms

The rooms at Gomi 20 strike that sweet spot between modern comfort and local character. You’ll find high ceilings, hardwood floors, and windows that actually open (refreshing after staying in so many sealed hotel boxes). The design feels thoughtfully Georgian without being kitschy — think clean lines with subtle nods to traditional craftsmanship. The bathrooms are well-appointed with good water pressure, which honestly matters more than you’d think when you’re exploring this hilly city all day. Air conditioning works perfectly during Tbilisi’s surprisingly hot summers, and the beds are genuinely comfortable.

Service & Atmosphere

The staff here gets it — they’re helpful without being hovering, and they actually know the neighborhood well enough to give you solid recommendations beyond the obvious tourist spots. You know what impressed me? They suggested a family-run khinkali place just two blocks away that I never would have found on my own, and it ended up being one of my best meals in Georgia. The whole property has this relaxed, residential vibe that makes you feel like you’re staying in an upscale Tbilisi home rather than a generic hotel. There’s no flashy lobby or over-the-top amenities, just thoughtful touches that show someone cares about the guest experience.

  Нам очень понравилось обслуживание хозяйки Очень внимательная ,доброжелательная Чистота ,белье очень чистое,как новое ,выглаженное утюгом Были 13 дней ,белье 2 раза меняли Место аренды удобно все близко кафе, серная баня ,остановка автобусов

  Апартаменты находятся в исторической старой части города, но чуть в стороне от туристических троп, поэтому здесь очень тихо. Сама улочка находится на пригорке, очень интересная, много аутентичных домов и дворов, а из нашего окна была видна большая часть старого города. На самом верху улицы прекрасная панорама на весь город. Хозяева апартаментов очень любезные, гостеприимство выше всяких похвал. Мы в Тбилиси пятый раз, но все равно нуждались в некоторых советах, и хозяева всегда были готовы прийти на помощь. Номер уютный, очень чистый, постельное белье и полотенца свежие. Ванная комната большая, всегда была горячая вода. Холодильник работает тихо, и вообще в номере очень тихо, что для центра Тбилиси редкость.

  Տունը գտնվում է հիանալի տեղանքում՝ հին քաղաքի սրտում, շատ կոլորիտային և միևնույն ժամանակ հարմար վայր` ամեն ինչ քայլելու հեռավորության վրա է՝ խանութներ, տեսարժան վայրեր, սրճարաններ: Տան տերերը` հայ ամուսիններ են` Ստեփանը և Մարինան, շատ հաճելի և հոգատար մարդիկ։ Սենյակները մաքուր էին, կոկիկ, բոլոր անհրաժեշտ հարմարություններով։
  Անպայման խորհուրդ եմ տալիս այս տանը կանգ առնել Թբիլիսի այցելելիս։

  Spacious, cosy and well equipped 1-bedroom space with the awesome view. Friendliest and helpful hosts. Fantastic location for sightseeing and getting a feel for Old Tbilisi but a bit away from loud touristic quarters.

  Excellent location in a trendy part of Old Tbilisi. Beautifully renovated houses around and all places to visit at walking distance.
  Spacious apartment.
  A bit of advice: it says kitchenware is available in the apartment but it means a kettle to make tea or coffee.
  Also if you happen to pass during the summer and want to sleep in a small room with no airco, keep the window closed during the day and shutters on.

  A nice apartment in the very centre of the old Tbilisi with a pleasant view on the Kura river and Avlabar. The apartment has its own style, for it is located under the attic. The hostess was very kind, polite and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here
