Actually, my room had this massive window that opened onto a tiny courtyard I hadn’t even noticed from outside, complete with olive trees and the kind of worn stone benches that make you want to sit there with morning coffee for hours.

The staff here really knows their stuff – not in that overly rehearsed concierge way, but genuinely. When I mentioned I was looking for a good local taverna, the woman at reception didn’t just hand me a tourist map. She actually walked me to the front entrance and pointed down a narrow side street I never would have found on my own, explaining exactly which tables to request for the best view. That kind of local knowledge is worth its weight in gold, honestly. The 8.9 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s the kind of place where small touches add up to something really special. Check-in was smooth (they actually had my room ready an hour early), and I never had to wait more than a few minutes for anything I needed. One tiny thing – the WiFi can be a bit spotty in some corners of the building, but honestly, that almost felt like a feature rather than a bug.   We had the perfect stay here. The location can’t be better, in the middle of all the sights we wanted to see. It was clean and quiet. The staff was superfriendly, always ready to help. Everything you wanted for breakfast was at their buffet. Great mattress. We would stay here again if we’d return to Tbilisi.
