You get a proper living area that doesn’t feel cramped, and the kitchen is actually functional, not just for show. I mean, you could genuinely cook a meal here if you wanted to, though honestly, with Tbilisi’s food scene right outside your door, why would you? The whole space feels lived-in but polished, if that makes sense. Everything works properly, the Wi-Fi is solid, and there’s enough storage that you can actually unpack your suitcase instead of living out of it.

Here’s what I really appreciated about the location — you’re in a proper neighborhood, not some touristy bubble. Grishashvili Street puts you close enough to Old Town that you can walk there easily, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with crowds every time you step outside. The area has that authentic Tbilisi vibe where locals are just going about their daily lives. There’s a small grocery store around the corner, and I noticed several cafes within a few blocks that clearly cater to residents rather than tourists — always a good sign.

Practical Considerations

Getting around from here is straightforward once you figure out the lay of the land. Tbilisi isn’t huge, so most places you’ll want to visit are either walkable or a short taxi ride away. The parking situation is better than what you’ll find in the city center, which matters if you’re planning to rent a car for day trips. I also liked that the building feels secure without being overly formal — you have your privacy, but there’s clearly someone keeping an eye on things. The whole setup works particularly well for couples, which makes sense given what other guests have said about this place.

  Huge place that can sleep several people. There's a little balcony that has a great view of the city because the road is elevated. You'll get a bit of exercise walking back up from the main centre, but that's no bad thing. Host is lively, but she provides all the amenities.

  We arrive way before our check-in time and the host let us to leave our luggage at her place and same after check-out (the train was leaving at night so if she disagree we had to take the luggage with us the whole day) without any extra charge, so we don't have to take the luggage with as before/after check-in/check-out, she welcomed us like we were relatives 🙂.
  The location is great and if you prefer to walk it is possible to see a lot of places of interest like "Peace bridge", Botanical garden, etc.
