The lobby has this clean, contemporary vibe without being sterile, you know? There’s something refreshing about a place that doesn’t try too hard to impress but still gets the details right.

What really won me over was how thoughtfully everything’s designed. The rooms aren’t huge – I mean, this is a 4-star property, not a luxury resort – but they use the space incredibly well. The bed was genuinely comfortable (and I’m picky about mattresses), and there’s actually enough storage space, which is rarer than it should be these days. The bathroom surprised me too – good water pressure and they’ve got that rainfall showerhead that actually works properly. Little things like USB ports built into the bedside tables and blackout curtains that completely block light show they understand what travelers actually need.

The service here consistently hits that sweet spot between attentive and not hovering. Check-in was smooth, and the staff seems to remember your face after a day or two, which I appreciate. Honestly, with an 8.8 rating, I was expecting good things, but sometimes those scores can be misleading – this one feels earned. The restaurant serves decent food (nothing groundbreaking, but fresh and well-prepared), and room service arrives hot and on time. I also noticed they keep common areas really clean, which became more important to me after staying at places that clearly don’t prioritize that. The WiFi actually works throughout the building too – fast enough for video calls, which saved me during a work emergency. If you’re looking for a place that delivers on the fundamentals without unnecessary frills or inflated prices, GINGER Hotel is definitely worth considering. It’s the kind of place I’d book again without hesitation.

  1) The location is amazing. Tbilisi is fairly polluted and noisy, but the hotel sits high up enough for that to be a non-issue, and the views are breathtaking. It's worth walking on foot from the hotel to the city center, because the way downhill is through the beautiful old city.
  2) The staff was very hospitable and kind, always willing to help with everything we needed.
  3) The room was very spacious (we booked a 'Deluxe Twin Room'), clean, comfortable and has an AC.
  4) The dining room's atmosphere is simply amazing; breakfast is great, although not too extravagant.
  5) The room service/cleaning is superb.

  The hotel is well organised, cozy vibe and above all, neat and clean. The hotel building looks quite old but the room itself is very clean with well managed furniture.
  You can see amazing city view from most of the rooms.
  The breakfast is classic. Also enjoy the awesome city view from the restaurant while having a breakfast.

  There is a very nice breakfast/bar terrace with the view of the city. Wi-fi works really good compared to other stays in Georgia. Rooms are clean. Stuff is very professional.
