Gallery Inn Old Tbilisi Overview
When I first wandered down the narrow, sun‑dappled lanes of Tbilisi, the city felt like an old friend with its bustling markets and the ever‑present scent of freshly baked khachapuri, and that’s precisely why the Gallery Inn Old Tbilisi seemed like the perfect spot to settle in. I was stunned by how the building’s façade—an elegant mix of 19th‑century brick and modern glass—melds with the old‑world charm of G. Tsereteli Street. The lobby is surprisingly spacious, with wooden panels that echo the city’s historic aesthetic, and the staff greet you with a friendly smile and a glass of local wine, making the check‑in feel more like a warm welcome than a hotel transaction. The Wi‑Fi is decent, though in the evenings the signal dips when the street vendors set up their stalls and the city’s chatter increases. The rooms themselves are cozy, with a small but functional bathroom, vintage décor, and a view that shows the quiet cobblestones of the surrounding streets.
Now, let’s talk practical stuff—because that’s what you need when you’re on the road. Parking is a bit of a puzzle: there’s a small underground garage a block away, but its capacity is limited, so you’ll usually have to ditch your car and walk. That’s actually a great thing; the walk takes you past a handful of tiny cafés where the locals sip strong Georgian coffee, and you’ll hear the clink of glasses from a nearby tavern that hosts live folk music at night. If you’re arriving after 4 pm, the check‑in desk is still open, and the staff are patient—though the front desk is sometimes a bit busy during the peak tourist season, especially in July and August when the city’s festivals bring extra foot traffic. The noise level at night is generally calm, except when the city’s nightlife lights up the square; the stray traffic and occasional shout from a passing bus can still be heard through the walls—an honest reminder that you’re truly in the heart of the city.
When it comes to the overall vibe, the Gallery Inn Old Tbilisi feels like a blend of comfort and authenticity. The staff’s knowledge of the city is impressive; they’ll point you toward the best spots for a hearty meal—like the tiny restaurant on Sukhishvili Street that serves the most mouth‑watering khinkali—or recommend a quiet tea house in the Romanov Square to unwind after a day of exploring. The only small critique I have is that the room’s air conditioning can be a bit loud at night, and the bathroom space feels a tad cramped if you’re a tall traveler. But honestly, those are minor quirks that get quickly forgotten when you’re walking down the old streets, listening to the city’s heartbeat and smelling the mix of incense and fresh bread. If you’re looking for a place that feels like a second home in the middle of Tbilisi’s historic district, the Gallery Inn Old Tbilisi is a solid choice that won’t let you down
Hotel in Tbilisi booking should be done early, especially during harvest season when the city hosts internationally celebrated wine festivals and cultural events.

Great stay clean room, perfect location, and the staff was amazing. She made my stay really comfortable and was always helpful and friendly. You can tell she really cares about the guests and goes out of her way to make everything perfect. It’s rare to feel so welcome these days. Definitely recommend this hotel and I’d come back anytime just for the great service.
I would recommend choose something else – Anonymous from Belarus – July 21, 2025 (7/10)
The room which I booked was not available. The administrator suggested 3 room but all of them was worth than the chosen rooms one. Size of room and clearness was good. Good air conditioner. Breakfast was good.
What could be improved: The room which I booked was not available. The location was bad. Bad view of windows. Noise of electricity generators.Exceptional – Sinisa from Serbia – August 20, 2025 (10/10)

Darya from Kazakhstan – August 5, 2025 (10/10)
What could be improved: Скорее рекомендация, добавить подушки поменьше 😊Wonderful – Olga from Russia – August 5, 2025 (9/10)
What could be improved: Не сказать, что не понравилось, но при вызове такси приходилось разъяснять куда ехать.Hotel encantador – Esther from Spain – August 5, 2025 (8/10)
Exceptional – Dinara from Russia – August 2, 2025 (10/10)
What could be improved: Не хватало мусорного ведра в комнате, только было маленькое в санузле. Но это просто придирки)
