Eva’s Pavaroti Overview
I stayed at a cozy place called Eva’s Pavaroti, a hip 4‑star hideaway on Ietim‑Gurji Street. The first time I stepped into the lobby, I felt like I was right in the heart of the city—Tbilisi—when I walked into the lobby. The reception desk is manned by a bubbly young woman who greets you with a warm smile and a quick, “Welcome to Eva’s, how can I help you?” The check‑in process was quick; she even fetched a small welcome packet with a local map and a list of her favorite spots. I mean, the hotel’s interior is a mash‑up of Georgian folk art and modern chic—hand‑painted murals of the old city’s streets, comfy armchairs, and a subtle scent of dried herbs that’s oddly comforting. The rooms themselves are clean, with a minimalist design that feels very spacious; the bed is a big, fluffy thing that’s actually super comfortable after a long day of touring. Parking is a bit of a hassle: there’s a small paid lot behind the building, but you can also find free spots along the street if you’re willing to walk a few minutes—just watch out for the delivery trucks that come in the mornings.
The real charm of Eva’s Pavaroti is how it feels like a home away from home, but with that little extra local flavor that only someone who’s lived here would know. I left my luggage in the tiny, well‑lit storage closet at the front desk and wandered into the courtyard, where a trio of old men were playing a game of chess with wooden pieces that looked like miniature statues. The courtyard’s stone tiles are warm in the sun, and the sound of distant traffic from the busy Ietim‑Gurji crosswalk is almost like a lullaby at night. You can hear the distant horns of the city, but the building’s thick walls keep the noise down to a low hum—so you can still sleep in peace. The hotel’s location is great; just a short walk

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel! It’s perfectly located in central Tbilisi, within walking distance of all the main sights, great food spots, and public transport. The space was clean, comfortable, and had a very cozy, welcoming atmosphere.
The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure everything was in order. One of the highlights was the WiFi — it worked flawlessly and was very fast, which was a huge plus. Definitely recommend Eva's Pavaroti for anyone visiting Tbilisi!Exceptional – Lidiia from Russia – July 26, 2025 (10/10)
Cozy, historical, and truly Georgian hospitality in the heart of Tbilisi
We stayed at Eva Pavarotti in the heart of Old Tbilisi and were absolutely delighted! This is not just a place to sleep — it’s a real home with soul and history. The owner, Nini, is incredibly warm and attentive. From the very first moment, you feel genuine hospitality and care — she doesn’t just host guests, she welcomes them into her personal story.
One of the most unique and memorable parts of our stay was the basement — a real archaeological treasure! Ancient arches, fragments of old walls, and artifacts discovered right under the building make your stay feel like a small journey through time. Nini shares the history of these discoveries with so much love and respect that you truly begin to feel the spirit of the Old City.
The rooms are clean, cozy, and full of character, with great attention to detail. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the location is perfect, and it’s just a short walk from all the main attractions — Eva Pavarotti is an ideal place for anyone who wants to experience the real Tbilisi.
Huge thanks to Nini for the warm welcome and for sharing her story and her city with such care! We will definitely be back!Cosy Gem in the Heart of Tbilisi – Davor from Sweden – July 16, 2025 (10/10)
Wonderful stay! The owner was very welcoming and lovely, with fast and excellent communication throughout. The room was beautiful, cosy, and spotlessly clean. The location was perfect, central yet peaceful. Next time I'm in Tbilisi, I'm definitely staying at Eva's Pavaroti again. Highly recommended!
Nice stay in interesting apartment in old town. – Christine from United Kingdom – June 8, 2025 (10/10)
The apartment / bedsit is in the ground floor of a historic building in the old town. The surrounding area is rather dilapidated but felt safe. The apartment is new, bright white and functional. It was quiet.
It is a short walk to the airport bus stop, restaurants and museums. it is 15 mins to the Baths.
Nini showed us the underground temple which was discovered by chance during renovations. It was very interesting.
Nini is extremely fast in replying to WhatsApp and access was easy. She stored our cases for the afternoon on our departure day.
What could be improved: The room is long and thin and you can only get into the double bed from one side.
There isn't much room for open suitcases.Great place – amazing host – Alex from Bulgaria – May 26, 2025 (10/10)
Amazing host. Amazing authentic building. One of the reasons we enjoyed our trip in Tbilisi was our stay at Eva’s Pavaroti. Friendly and smooth communication with the host from the moment we booked until after we left. Nini managed to accommodate our request to check-in earlier and to store our luggage on the day we left. She welcomed us in the nice studio with house wine, produced by her father – what a nice touch. The studio was new, fresh, well-maintained, clean and had all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Free and fast WiFi. Nini recommended a place to eat and we loved it. In the area, you can also find a great choice of bars, cafes, art shops and many places of interest in the old town. We happened to stay during the national Day of Georgia and loved the festive vibe in the city. If you are looking for accommodation in Tbilisi, trust the high reviews this property has. We are happy we did 🇬🇪🍷🫶
An absolutely wonderful experience – Peter from Germany – April 27, 2025 (10/10)
The place was spotless, cozy, and even more beautiful than the photos. The location was perfect, and every detail showed great care. Our host Nini was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely love to come back to Eva's Pavaroti again!
Perfect – Kate from United Kingdom – April 21, 2025 (10/10)
A beautiful, tranquil place to stay, quiet, but just yards to the old town’s centre. I stayed twice, and I’d stay a third time if it was available my next weekend in the city.
It’s an oasis of calm, which I kind of need, and which at the budget end of the spectrum is hard to find.
Nini has thought of everything — it’s clean, well organised, thoughtful touches such as iron, coffeee/tea, etc.
