Episode Tbilisi Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Episode Tbilisi, you immediately get that modern boutique hotel vibe — clean lines, thoughtful design touches, and staff who actually seem happy to see you. The lobby has this contemporary Georgian aesthetic that feels fresh without trying too hard, and honestly, it sets the tone perfectly for what turns out to be a really solid four-star experience. I mean, you can tell they’ve put thought into every detail here. The attention to design and comfort becomes apparent from the moment you step through the doors, with each element carefully considered to enhance your stay.
Location & Neighborhood
The Saburtalo district might not be the old town that everyone talks about, but here’s the thing — it’s where actual Tbilisi life happens. You’re on Pekini Avenue, which gives you easy access to both the city center and some genuinely good local spots that tourists often miss. The metro’s close by, and you know what? Sometimes it’s nice to stay somewhere that feels less touristy. Couples seem to really get this — they consistently rate the location highly, and I can see why. The neighborhood offers an authentic experience with convenient access to local restaurants, shops, and cultural attractions that showcase the real character of the city.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d hope for from a well-run four-star place — spacious enough to actually unpack, with a bed that didn’t leave me counting sheep, and a bathroom that felt properly modern. The design leans contemporary with subtle nods to Georgian culture, which I appreciated. Air conditioning works well (crucial for Tbilisi summers), and the soundproofing is decent, though you might catch some street noise if you’re a really light sleeper. Each room is thoughtfully appointed with quality furnishings and modern amenities that ensure a comfortable and restful night’s sleep.
Breakfast & Dining
Breakfast here actually impressed me — they’ve clearly thought about different dietary needs with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options that don’t feel like afterthoughts. The buffet setup works well, with a nice mix of Georgian specialties and international standards. The restaurant staff knows their stuff, and they’re happy to explain what’s what if you’re not familiar with local dishes. Coffee’s solid too, which honestly makes or breaks my morning. The dining experience reflects a commitment to quality and variety, making it easy to start your day well-nourished and ready to explore the city.
Why Guests Love It
What really works about Episode Tbilisi is that it strikes this balance between being polished and feeling authentic. You’re not paying five-star prices, but you’re getting thoughtful service and a genuine sense of place. The location grows on you — especially if you want to experience Tbilisi beyond the main tourist circuit — and the overall experience feels like good value. It’s the kind of place where small details matter, from helpful local recommendations to reliable wifi, and they seem to get that right consistently. The hotel successfully combines modern comfort with local character, creating an environment where guests feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout their stay.

This was our first time visiting Georgia, and this hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff—George, Nina, David, and Irakli—were very friendly, and the housekeepers were also nice and did an excellent job. We enjoyed our stay for 7 days and 6 nights. The hotel had a pleasant scent, and the deluxe suite we booked was spacious, with high-quality beds and pillows. We will definitely return to this property!
