A short walk to the nearby Tbilisi Funicular takes you up to Mtatsminda Park, and the view of the city at sunset is something I’ll never forget. I also noticed that the hotel’s location on Chugureti is a sweet spot: you’re close enough to the city center to walk to museums and restaurants, but far enough away that the noise is manageable, especially after midnight. If you’re traveling during the peak tourist season (late spring to early autumn), you’ll notice the crowds, but the staff is always on hand to help with extra towels or to recommend the best times to hit the local markets.

All in all, staying at the English Home Hotel Tbilisi was a solid experience – not over‑the‑top, but definitely above average. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was spot on for exploring the city on foot. I would say the only area for improvement is the Wi‑Fi speed; it’s a bit spotty in the evenings, which is frustrating if you’re trying to upload photos or catch up on work. But for a traveler who wants an authentic, hassle‑free stay without the touristy fluff, this place hits the mark.
