The shower has decent water pressure, something I’ve learned not to take for granted after a few disappointing stays elsewhere. The hosts clearly understand what travelers need because there are little touches everywhere: extra blankets for Tbilisi’s surprisingly chilly nights, local tea in the kitchen, even a decent coffee setup. Parking can be a bit tricky on Kostava – it’s not impossible, but you might end up walking a block or two. The trade-off is worth it though, because you’re close enough to walk to places like Rustaveli Avenue or even venture into the old town when the mood strikes. I’ve found the area gets pretty quiet after 10 PM, which is perfect if you’ve had a long day exploring and just want to decompress.   Anna, the host, and her smart daughter Mariami (she plays the role of translator for her mom because of her perfect English), are ready to help you with anything you might need. They linked me with a tour guide who helped me visit different regions in Geogria. and yes, thank you Anna for the watermelon you kept for us in the fridge before we arrive, and for the fresh and tasty local cheese you brought later.

  The apartment was old and there are two rooms, a spacious lounge, a dining table, a kitchen area and all the tools are available and there is near a supermarket and clinic and all the means of transportation and the owner of the apartment is a helpful person
