First Impressions

When I first walked up to Cozy Apartment In The City Center, I’ll be honest — the name pretty much says it all. This four-star property sits right on Pavle Ingorokva Street in Mtatsminda, and you literally can’t get more central than this in Tbilisi. I mean, you’re basically in the beating heart of the old city, with cobblestone streets and those famous sulfur baths just a short stroll away. The building itself has that classic Georgian charm, but what really caught my attention was how quiet it felt despite being surrounded by all the action.

Location & Getting Around

You know what’s great about staying here? You can actually walk to pretty much everything worth seeing. The cable car up to Narikala Fortress is maybe a five-minute walk, and those iconic balconies of Old Tbilisi are right outside your door. I spent most mornings just wandering the narrow streets with a coffee, watching the city wake up. The parking situation is honestly a relief too — having free private spots on-site is rare in this part of town, and trust me, you don’t want to be hunting for street parking in Mtatsminda’s winding roads.

The Apartment Experience

The apartment itself feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place than a typical hotel room. There’s a proper kitchen with everything you need, which came in handy when I picked up fresh khachapuri from the bakery down the street. The space is thoughtfully laid out — not huge, but every corner serves a purpose. The windows face the street, so you get these lovely glimpses of daily Georgian life, from vendors setting up their stalls to neighbors chatting on their famous wooden balconies.

Neighborhood Vibes

What I really loved about this spot is how it puts you right in the middle of authentic Tbilisi life. There’s a small restaurant practically next door that serves the best khinkali I had during my entire stay — the kind of place where locals actually eat, not just tourists. The sulfur baths are close enough that you can smell that distinctive mineral scent on certain days, which honestly just adds to the whole experience. Evening walks through the area are magical, especially when the old churches are lit up and you can hear traditional Georgian singing drifting from various courtyards.

Why Guests Love It

I can see why couples rate this place so highly — there’s something genuinely romantic about the setting without it feeling forced or touristy. The combination of being centrally located but still peaceful, having your own space with a kitchen, and being able to step out into one of the most photogenic neighborhoods in the Caucasus really works. Plus, the hosts clearly know what they’re doing — everything from check-in to local recommendations felt effortless. It’s the kind of place where you end up staying longer than planned, not because there’s nothing else to see, but because you’ve found the perfect home base for exploring this incredible city.

  Hospitality is super, and the apartment is cosy. with a touch of the Modern. Also if you would like to visit historical places (like castles and museums), this is the best place, most of them is within walking distance. There are good Georgian Traditional restaurants (taste and value-wise) within 100 meters from the apartment, and the other districts of Tbilisi are within 15-20 minutes of walking (so you save on transport). Overall, a very solid place to stay.

  The reviews are accurate— the location of this apartment is super. It’s less than a minute walk to the restaurants and the main square but still very quiet so it’s great for long term remote-work stays (I stayed over a week).
  The apartment is safe, modern, and has great touches like coffee, tea and sugar, new bed sheets, toiletries etc. It’s very clean and the size of living room is good too. I’m very happy I chose this place, and so will you.
