I just spent a weekend at Cozy Apartment in Tbilisi, and wow, what a gem tucked up on Chakhrukhadze Street 11. It’s that kind of spot you stumble upon when you’re walking down the cobblestones near the Rustaveli metro stop, and you’re not looking for a hotel—just a place that feels like a home you can’t help but love. The building’s façade is that old, Georgian brick with a little red door that looks like it’s been there forever. Inside, the warm glow of Edison bulbs and the scent of freshly baked khachapuri drifting from the bakery on the corner give you that instant “I’m in the right place” vibe.

The apartment itself is a punch of comfort and practicality. Two rooms, one with a comfy bed that’s literally a cloud, the other with a sofa that’s perfect for a quick nap after a long day of exploring. The kitchen is surprisingly well-equipped—stove, fridge, a kettle, and even a small espresso machine. I spent a morning sipping that espresso while the city awakens, hearing the tram hiss through the streets and the distant chatter of locals in the market square. The balcony is a big plus; you can sit there in the afternoon and watch the sun set over Mtatsminda Park, or in the evening when the lights flicker on, it feels like you’ve got the whole city in your lap. Parking isn’t a hassle either—there’s a small paid garage a block away, and street parking is generally available if you’re quick enough to snag a spot before the evening rush.

Check‑in was a breeze. The front desk clerk—named Liza—was super friendly, handed over the key with a grin, and even mentioned that the best coffee spots are just two streets away, which turned out to be true. The only small critique is that the apartment’s noise level can spike during the day as the street becomes lively; if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs and enjoy the night quiet. But honestly, the nights are serene, the city lights cast a soft glow, and the calmness of the apartment makes it a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing.

Overall, Cozy Apartment offers that de‑stressing, almost “home away from home” experience you crave when traveling. It’s not a luxury hotel with fancy suites, but it’s a place that feels honest and real, with all the little touches that only a local or a traveler who’s really been there would notice.   The house has a great location in the Old Town of Tbilisi. It has great connection to the center, subway as well as some shops. It is very well equiped with the washing machine, cooker, big fridge, TV, reliable wifi connection, air conditioning and a balcony. Everything was clean when we arrived. We also got a “travelling slippers” which we really appreciated.
  
  Our host was helpful during our arrival and was communicating fast and in english, which was nice. The house lady is her mother, and she is very nice and welcoming. We communicated everything we needed with a friendly and positive vibe.
  
  If everything went alright, I guess we would not meet her daughter, the house owner. However we sadly had and accident during our trip and we needed an emergency visit to the hospital. We came home (around 9 PM), ask the house lady to connect us with the owner and she came withing half and hour. She gave us some advice and then she decided to come with us to the hospital. Due to our emergency situation and a language barrier (from our experience most of people in Georgia do NOT speak english on communication level) we were really relieved she came with us. She helped us with translation in the hospital and I have to say that without her things would be very, very difficult back there. It took couple hours and she also helped us with our way back to the hotel and finding a pharmacy at late evening. I can think of many other ways of spending Friday (!) night then accompanying two foreigner to the hospital. However we couldn’t be more thankful to her! Upon the return to the hotel her mother cooked us a meal, which we really enjoyed after a night in the hospital.
  
  We can truly recommend this place as your accomodation in Tbilisi. The location, room and people involved are just simply amazing!

  Great location, in the old town but also close to bus and metro. Nino was lovely. The apartment was really well-equipped, including things like washing powder for the washing machine. The balcony is definitely a highlight and in warm weather is a glorious place to sit.
  
  What could be improved: The mattress was quite old and when one person turns over, the other one bounces around! Time to replace it. The lights were a bit weak for reading.

  Великолепные апартаменты прямо в центре Тбилиси! Номер на 2-м этаже. Большая комната с двуспальной кроватью и диваном, кухня со всем необходимым, туалет с душем, стиральная машина. В общем все, что нужно было семейной паре для нескольких дней знакомства с Тбилиси. Все достопримечательности практически в пешей доступности. Хозяйка ждала нас прямо на пороге, живет на 1-м этаже. Ну, и конечно же, это балкон!!! Мы на нем практически и жили: отдыхали, ели, пили! Единственное замечание для путешественников с авто: парковка под домом только если есть свободные места. Нам повезло и мой джип практически все дни простоял под балконом. Рядом есть платная парковка.

  Круглосуточный продуктовый, обменные пункты, булочная и остальное в пешей доступности.
  Есть всё необходимое для приятного времяпровождения. Бокалы для вина, посуда, холодильник, кофе растворимый и заварной.
  Стиралка, микроволновка, одноразовые шампуни и остальное!
  Балкон – это отдельное блаженство!
  Комплимент от хозяйки бутылка вина и шоколадка!
  Хозяйка – очень милая и добродушная бабушка.

  Останавливались на неделю в начале мая 2025г.
  Квартира очень чистая и уютная, имеется красивый балкон на котором при желании можно позавтракать или поужинать) В квартире есть всё необходимое для комфорного пребывания, учтены все мелочи (стиральная машина, чайник, сушилка для белья, стиральный порошок, гель для душа, шампунь, мыло, прищепки, зонт, фен, посуда, кастрюля, сковорода, столовые приборы, штопор, чай, кофе, сахар, пледики, список можно продолжать бесконечно). Когда была холодная погода на улице, нам включили отопление.Так же по приезду нас ждал подарок в виде бутылки вина и шоколада.
  Отдельно отмечу возможность раннего заселения и выселения. Наш самолет прилетал рано утром, улетал поздно ночью. Нас встретили и всё показали, рассказали, не смотря на позднее время, также проводили.
  Хозяева радушные и гостеприимные, всегда на связи, можно обратится, если есть какие-то вопросы.
  Если будем в Тбилиси, обязательно вернемся именно в эту квартиру)
