Cosy apartment in Tbilisi centre Overview
When I stepped onto 19 Dimitri Bakradze Street, I realized I was in Tbilisi. The building itself is a quiet, two‑story apartment block that feels like a secret hideaway in the heart of the city. The front door opens into a snug living‑room with exposed wooden beams and a little balcony that looks over the bustling street below. I mean, it’s not a skyscraper, but the view of the old town’s rooftops from there is surprisingly spectacular.
The apartment is a 4‑star gem, honestly. The kitchenette is tiny, but it’s been thoughtfully arranged—there’s a kettle that boils in seconds, a small fridge, and a set of glass jars that hold fresh herbs from the market. I spent a morning making a simple Georgian breakfast: a bowl of *khachapuri* from the bakery on the corner of Nikolai Street, the smell of melted cheese wafting through the open window. The walls are painted in warm neutrals, and the single window lets in a soft, diffused light that makes the space feel cozy rather than cramped. The bathroom is modern, with a rain shower that’s surprisingly powerful for a 4‑star apartment.
Check‑in was a breeze. The front desk staff were friendly and offered me a quick key exchange before the official 2 pm time because they knew I’d been traveling all day. They even handed me a local guide with a handwritten note recommending the best spots to try *lobio* (black bean stew) and where to catch the sunset over Mt. Tbilisi. Parking is a bit of a hunt—you’ll have to scour the side streets for street parking, or you can drop off a car at a nearby garage for a small fee. But I found a spot on the block, and the noise from the nearby bar was surprisingly muted thanks to the thick walls.
The only downside is the early‑morning traffic. At 5 am, the street was alive with the honk of cars and the distant rumble of a tram—great for a true city vibe, but it can be a bit jarring if you’re trying to catch a nap after a long flight. Also, the apartment is a short walk from the famous Rustaveli Avenue, so it’s easy to get a bit noisy if you stay out late, but the building’s windows are decent at blocking out the city’s chatter.
Overall, it feels like a home away from home. The staff were genuinely helpful, the apartment is clean and well‑equipped, and the location is so central that you can hop on a tram to the Old Town or stroll over to the Sioni Cathedral in just a few minutes. If you’re visiting during the busy summer months, I’d suggest arriving in the evening when the street is quieter, but early autumn is the sweet spot for a relaxed stay. The apartment’s small size doesn’t feel cramped; instead, it encourages you to explore the neighborhood and discover those hidden cafés and street artists that make Tbilisi so alive. The overall vibe is warm, welcoming, and just plain comfortable—exactly the kind of place I’d recommend to a friend who wants to experience the city like a local.

Located in the central area, the apartment offered the perfect balance of comfort and convenience. The location is ideal for exploring the city, as it’s within walking distance of major landmarks like Freedom Square, Rustaveli Avenue, and the historic Old Town.
The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a modern cozy design. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary amenities, making it easy to prepare meals. The bed was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful despite being in such a bustling area.
One of the standout features was the host’s hospitality. They provided helpful local tips, from nearby restaurants to hidden gems in the city. Public transport options were easily accessible, but honestly, you could walk to most places. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking to experience the best of Tbilisi’s vibrant culture, whether you’re a solo traveler or visiting with friends. It’s a great home base in the city!Exceptional – Veronika from Russia – July 19, 2024 (10/10)
So comfortable and cozy, we didn’t even need to get a taxi, because everything is close to go on foot. Thank you for being so welcoming!
Spacious and cozy apartment – Anna from Russia – April 11, 2024 (9/10)
We had all the basic equipment for a long stay: dishes, an extra set of bed linen, etc. In February there was enough heating card. Very friendly owner. And it was very clean and cozy.
What could be improved: The only disadvantage for me was not enough sunshine because of the location in the courtyard on the first floor. And the cats outside are very cute, but so the restroom sometimes smelled like cats from the street. But this does not cause much inconvenience, so I would still recommend this accommodation option.I had a Tbilutiful time living in this apartment! – Aleksandr from Armenia – February 14, 2024 (10/10)
Alexander is a wonderful host who helped me a great deal throughout my stay. He was kind, considerate and welcoming and always open to my requests.
The apartment itself is newly renovated and all the appliances are top-notch! It has an interesting design that is tastefully done and quite appealing to the eye.
The apartment is located on the ground floor and the windows overlook a quiet nice-looking authentic yard with tangled grapevines on the walls.
I highly recommend this apartment to everyone who is thinking about renting a cozy apartment in the center of the city!Exceptional – Bregvadze from Spain – November 8, 2023 (10/10)
This apartment was just awesome!
It was even better than the pictures showed. Great design and vibes! Very cozy, clean and comfortable in a great location. Tons of great cafes nearby and the metro was very close.
The internet was working flawlessly – I had no issues working remotely and enjoyed workspace.
Alexander is a wonderful host, very responsive and accommodating. I can recommend this place for those looking for a nice, comfortable place to stay while in Tbilisi.Wonderful – Pebrero from Kuwait – January 14, 2024 (9/10)

What could be improved: Nothing 😊Exceptional – Leyla from Russia – June 29, 2025 (10/10)
Naina from Russia – June 9, 2025 (10/10)
