I’ll be honest – when I first walked into City Avenue Hotel, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like your typical mid-range business hotel. But you know what? Sometimes those assumptions are completely wrong. This 4-star spot actually surprised me in the best way possible, and that 8.3 rating it’s got? Yeah, I can see why.

The thing about this place is that it gets the basics really, really right. I mean, we’ve all stayed at hotels that look great online but then you get there and the WiFi barely works or the shower has no pressure – none of that here. The rooms are what I’d call thoughtfully designed rather than flashy. Clean lines, decent space to actually spread out your stuff (not just a bed crammed between two nightstands), and honestly, the most comfortable hotel pillows I’ve encountered in ages. The air conditioning runs quiet too, which matters more than you think when you’re trying to sleep. I stayed on the seventh floor and barely heard any street noise, though I’d probably still request a room facing away from the main road if you’re a light sleeper.

What really won me over was the staff – they actually seem to care about what they’re doing, which feels rarer these days. The front desk guy remembered my name by the second day (without looking at a computer screen), and when I mentioned I was looking for a decent coffee shop nearby, he didn’t just point me toward the hotel’s own café but actually recommended this little local place two blocks over that served way better espresso. That kind of genuine helpfulness makes such a difference when you’re somewhere unfamiliar. The housekeeping team was spot-on too – they managed to clean around my laptop and papers without moving everything around, which tells me they pay attention to details. Check-in was smooth, maybe ten minutes total even though I arrived during what seemed like a busy afternoon rush. One small thing though – the elevator can be a bit slow during peak hours, so factor in an extra few minutes if you’re on a tight schedule. The hotel restaurant is perfectly fine for breakfast or a quick dinner, nothing groundbreaking but solid comfort food and they don’t overcharge like some places do. Overall, it’s the kind of hotel that just works without any drama or surprises, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

  Central heating with a fan and not radiator heating, works fine.
  Room size is good.
  Bidet available for toilet paper free cleanup, kudos for adding that.

  Very good. Friendly Staffs need to Supply water drink bottles at least 3 bottles to be enough for one person gor drinks. Coffee and Tea inaddtion to tea and coffee. One not enough bag and coffee for one pesons . Bad Supply in providing water drink bottles and tea/ coffee for one night. Need to improve in the supply
