What I really appreciated was having a proper kitchenette in my room – and I’m talking about one you’d actually use, not those sad little setups with a broken mini-fridge and no counter space. After a few days of amazing Georgian food (which, honestly, can get pretty heavy), being able to grab some fresh produce from the local market and whip up something light was perfect.

The service strikes that nice balance where they’re helpful but not hovering around constantly. Check-in was smooth, and the front desk folks seemed to actually know the city well – they steered me toward this little wine bar tucked away in a basement that I never would’ve found otherwise. The rooms are spacious enough that you don’t feel cramped, which is saying something since I tend to spread my stuff everywhere. Air conditioning works well too, which matters more than you might think during those muggy Tbilisi summers. I will say the walls could be a bit thicker – you’ll hear your neighbors if they’re having a particularly animated phone call, but it’s not terrible.
