Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re literally surrounded by the best of Tbilisi. The sulfur baths are just down the hill, and you can wander up to Narikala Fortress without breaking a sweat. What’s really nice is how quiet Chekhova Street feels despite being so central. You know how some hotels are technically well-located but on busy roads? This isn’t that. The street has this residential feel, but step out and you’re immediately in the action.

Your Room and Space

The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a solid four-star — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed without being flashy. The windows are generous, which matters more than you’d think when you’re looking out at Tbilisi’s mix of traditional and modern architecture. What impressed me was the attention to small details — good lighting for actually reading, enough outlets where you need them, and a bathroom that doesn’t feel like an afterthought. The staff really does respond quickly if you need anything, which I appreciated when I had questions about getting around the city.

Breakfast and Practical Stuff

Breakfast here is actually pretty impressive — they’ve got a proper buffet setup with vegetarian and vegan options, which isn’t always a given in this part of the world. I mean, the Georgian food is fantastic, but it’s nice to have choices. The restaurant area has this relaxed morning vibe, and you can take your time without feeling rushed. Oh, and there’s free parking on-site, which honestly might be the most valuable amenity if you’re driving — finding parking in central Tbilisi can be a real headache otherwise.

What really sets Cherry Garden apart is how it balances everything — you get that authentic Tbilisi experience without sacrificing comfort or convenience. Couples especially seem to love it here (and I can see why), but it works just as well if you’re traveling solo or with friends. You’re not staying in some generic hotel that could be anywhere — you’re staying somewhere that actually belongs in this neighborhood, in this city. That’s harder to find than you’d think.
