Tucked away on a quiet dead-end street called Vertskhli III, it’s one of those places you’d never find unless someone told you about it. The entrance has this understated elegance that immediately signals you’re somewhere special, without being pretentious about it. The overall design philosophy respects both modern travelers and those seeking authentic cultural immersion.

Location & Getting Around

You know what’s brilliant about this spot? You’re literally in the heart of old Tbilisi — I mean, they’ve got a location score of 9.5 for a reason. From here, you can walk to Narikala Fortress in about ten minutes, and the sulfur baths district is practically next door. The narrow cobblestone streets around the hotel are part of that authentic Georgian charm you came here for. Plus, there’s free parking right on site, which is honestly a godsend in this part of the city where finding a parking spot usually involves some creative maneuvering. The neighborhood truly captures the essence of historic Tbilisi.

The Room Experience

My room had this perfect blend of modern comfort and Georgian character — exposed brick walls, but with all the amenities you actually need. The beds are seriously comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and the bathroom was spotless with great water pressure. What I loved most was the attention to small details — quality linens, proper blackout curtains, and windows that actually open to let in fresh air. The wine theme carries through subtly in the décor, but it’s not overdone or kitschy. Each room reflects thoughtful design choices that enhance the guest experience.

Dining & Atmosphere

The hotel’s restaurant serves both Georgian and international dishes, and I have to say, their khachapuri is some of the best I had during my entire stay in Georgia. The staff clearly knows their wine — this is Georgia, after all, where wine-making started thousands of years ago. Breakfast was solid too, with both local specialties and familiar options if you’re not feeling adventurous. The whole atmosphere feels intimate and personal, like staying at a well-connected friend’s place rather than a generic hotel. The culinary offerings showcase regional flavors beautifully.

  Amazing location, spacious appartment with a cosy garden and a great host who was always there for us!!!! Alex also offered us some great trips and took us to a different places to experience the local culture and to enjoy the countryside. In addition you can taste the local cusine at host’ restaurant which is located in the same building.

  Everything is perfect. The hotel so near to the freedom square. You can walk everywhere. Aleks and manager both were very helpfull and polite. They made traditional food for us. They have very good wine in their restaurant. On the last day our flight was canceled and we stayed one more night and they gave us a discount. Thank you for everything. We will be back! 🙂

  Comfortable, quiet and spacious apartment in very center of the city, walking distance to all main attractions. Fantastic owner who welcomed us with genuine hospitality and took good care of us during our stay. Great communication, and all our requests addressed in minutes. Small restaurant downstairs with wine tasting and delicious food. Could not ask for a better place for our week-long stay. Will be back!
