It’s a stone’s throw from the bustling Sioni Square and the historic Metekhi Church, so you can hop on a short walk to the old town and soak up the cobblestones and the scent of fresh khachapuri baking in a nearby bakery. The building’s façade is a bit of a mix‑and‑match of old stone and new glass, but that’s the charm of this part of town—every block tells a story.

Check‑in is straightforward: the front desk is on the 2nd floor, and the host is super friendly—she even gave me a small booklet of local coffee spots that are perfect for a mid‑morning pick‑up. The apartment itself is a single‑room layout that’s surprisingly spacious. The bed is a king‑size with a quilted comforter that gives off that “home‑away‑from‑home” vibe. The kitchen is small but well‑equipped: a two‑burner stove, a microwave, and a mini fridge that runs on a cheap, unreliable Wi‑Fi signal (you might have to tap the router a few times to get a decent connection). The bathroom is a bit on the small side, but the shower’s water pressure is surprisingly good for a city apartment. I found the linens to be thick and clean, which is a relief after a day of exploring.

Noise-wise, the building is decent; the only traffic is the occasional honking from the nearby avenue, but it’s far enough that you hear it as a distant buzz—like a city hum in the background. Parking is the only thing that trips me up; there’s no dedicated parking, so you’ll have to rely on street parking a few blocks away. In the afternoons, you’ll see a lot of locals doing their lunch breaks in the nearby cafés, so it’s a great spot to people‑watch. The apartment’s windows face the street, so you get a real taste of the city’s rhythm: the chatter of vendors, the clatter of scooters, and the occasional church bell. If you’re planning to stay during the peak tourist season, expect the area to be lively all day, but the apartment’s insulation keeps the night quiet enough for a good sleep. Overall, the 4‑star rating of 9.8 is spot on—clean, cozy, and a real local experience without all the marketing fluff.

  next to the metro. it has everything that you need in a house!!!!
  
  What could be improved: the sheets on the bed were like plastic and they were sliding off the bed. the building is pretty old and the smell in the bathroom and out of the apartment leaves much to be desired.

  The apartment is located in a very old building, inner yard, off from the busy and bustling main avenue of the area = very quiet 🙂
  Outlay and set up of the apartment is nice and unique. On old apartment, with very high ceiling has made two-storage solution possible. One bedroom is on the first floor when 2nd bedroom and bathroom are on the 2nd floor.
  Communication with the host was excellent, in numbers 10++ (which is outstanding in Georgia).
  Kitchen is well equipped, a nice (very low cost) bonus was having tea, coffee and sugar available. It gives a nice impression of the care of the guests.
  What else – the host gave a remote of the vehicle gate, which made parking possible in the reality – very rare option in Tbilisi.
  A large refrigeration with a sufficient freezer.
  Fast WIFI 🙂
  The last but not the least – the apartment was very warm (in late Feb) = the heating works which is once again rare thing in Georgian short term rental apartments 🙂
  
  What could be improved: If saying "what I didn't like" gives a wrong impression – just pointing out that this apartment is not suitable for persons with mobility disabilities – it's on one floor up from the ground (many steps) and the bathroom is on the 2nd floor of the apartment. If you're not comfortable with stairs, then it's better to look something else,
  If the stairs are not a problem – then this apartment is a perfect choice when you need an apartment with two real bedrooms – not just sleeping on the coach.

  Konum metro istasyonuna çok yakındı. Bir çok ulaşım alternatifi mevcuttu. Geceleri gayet sessiz bir ortam var. Ev gayet kompakt bir şekilde her ihtiyaca cevap veriyor. İklimlendirme sistemleri çok başarılı. 24 saat boyunca açık marketlere çok yakın. Ev sahibi iyi bir insan.
  
  What could be improved: Fazla konaklama süreleri için merdiven rahatsız edici olabilir. Evde yemek yapıldığında koku içeride kalıyor. Çoğunlukla tuvalete dışarıdan koku geliyor. Sigara içilebilir olması daha mantıklı olabilirdi.
