Boutique Hotel Tiflis Overview
I was wandering through Tbilisi on a drizzle‑slicked Tuesday, chasing the scent of fresh bread from a nearby bakery, when the little sign with a hand‑painted “Boutique Hotel Tiflis” caught my eye. The building sits on 36 Viktor Jorbenadze Street, a narrow cobblestone lane that feels like a secret corridor out of the Old Town’s chaotic river of traffic and the gentle buzz of the city. Check‑in was a breeze – the front desk staff greeted me with a warm smile and handed over a key card that looked a bit too modern for the 1940s‑era stone façade. They mentioned that early check‑in is usually possible if you call ahead, and honestly, I did just that, so the room was ready before I even touched my suitcase.
The room itself is a tidy blend of contemporary chic and Georgian charm. I found a king‑size bed with a quilt that was surprisingly soft, and a small balcony that offered an unexpected view of the Tbilisi Bridge – the river snaking its way through the city, its lights flickering at dusk. Inside, the décor had subtle touches of amber ceramics and reclaimed wood, which I guessed were sourced from local artisans. The bathroom was a bright, almost minimalist space with a rain shower that felt like a fresh start after a long day. I have to admit, the Wi‑Fi in the lounge area can be a bit patchy, but the hotel’s own Wi‑Fi in the rooms was solid, which is a big plus when you’re trying to share a photo of your breakfast with friends back home. Parking was a lifesaver – they offer a free underground spot, though you have to be quick because the lot fills up fast, especially when the city’s nightlife starts to hum. I parked a few minutes before sunset and it was still secure and hidden from the view of the noisy street.
The best part, if you’re looking for a place that feels like a home base, is the breakfast spread. They serve a hearty Georgian buffet that includes khachapuri, mirovalsa, and a selection of cheeses that are aged right here on the premises. The café’s coffee, brewed from beans grown in the nearby Kakheti region, had a depth of flavor that made my morning feel like a small celebration. As I sat at the table, I could hear the faint clatter of dishes from the neighboring restaurant and the occasional laughter from the street below – a soundtrack that’s oddly comforting. By the time the day wound down, the noise from the street had faded, replaced by the soft hum of a few radio stations playing Georgian pop. I left the hotel feeling relaxed, a little more connected to the city’s rhythm, and definitely willing to recommend it to anyone who wants to experience Tbilisi from a place that feels both authentic and thoughtfully curated.

Красивое место! – Iuliia from Russia – August 25, 2025 (10/10)
